@@glitch6183 if I understand it correctly, if certain limited 5 star characters had at least 3 banners(2x rerun), and didn't appear in the recent event wishes(idk how many patches they counts), they would appear in the new banner. this isn't the case for weapons though, they probably would update the weapons there from time to time
I’m kind of happy about the Chronicle Wish banner. The fact that I could go for a limited five star that I always wanted and end up getting a limited five star that I never thought of getting could be cool and maybe even change my way of playing the game and thinking about them for the better 😄

As someone who been playing for a week the new updates are really good, I've spent hours of trying to find a good beginners guide and all of them are about "best characters to level up for abyss" And I'm not planning on doing that anytime soon so I'm glad thed devs are more interested in helping us noobs then the og players. Also I can't even use characters in co op because I get kicked for using someone "bad" so I kinda stopped trying to do co op and struggling with bosses because I don't understand how artifacts work yet so I just throw something on that gives attack
Aw man I am so sorry about the match co-op experience!! I recommend letting people join you in co-op outside of the domains bc usually it’s bored higher AR players who want to help you out! Or folks who might just need to collect local specialties. I’ve come to really enjoy co-op in more recent times bc there’s some great people. And I’m also really glad they’re giving better guides to newer players too. I started off casually and really loved the game but did NOT know what to do to optimize my teams. I know more now bc of research but accessibility is key to maintain newer players!
The problem with guides for newbies is that its way too much information which they don't need at that stage. Its ok to level up 3 star weapons in the beginning and not just hoard materials for an eternity. Even artifacts can be levelled and its a substantial damage boost when you pre ar40. Try to be too efficient and game stops being fun especially at low ar with lower rewards.
I think people need to understand that Hoyoverse is trying to accommodate for every single player with the new guide, like just cause you have 3 years playing this game doesn’t mean Bobby from Ohio has as well…this game is massive and they want to make it easy for new players to build their characters and show them what the rest of us are using! I personally think it’s a very good addition to the game and whoever says otherwise is being kinda self centered
These additions take a lot of effort and are very good for new players definitely, but I also don't like how some more desired QoL like simple artifact presets don't get added. I'm not a developer but I reckon artifact presets would be 10x easier to implement than this.

I’m 100% saving for Chori! Her skill will be super good for exploration and she’ll work really well with Gaming since you can switch characters in air after using her hold skill and plunge attack!! Already picturing a team with Gaming as dps, Xianyun as healer, Chori as support and either Benny or Geo traveler as damage buffers (Benny will probably be more useful as you can also use him to charge Gamings burst)
I'm looking forward to this update! I'm sure we'll get more story progression, but for now, I will happily take a fun times patch. Fontaine was a lot. Ngl.. imma be honest. This filler patch is good but pretty underwhelming at the same time. They could've added more and Better QOL update for this type of patches so people that don't really hype up for the filler patch still can get hook up because some good changes. But oh well whatever this patch is good for saving up until 4.6 drop

Kazuha has great crowd control abilities that can be very useful in abyss, he used to be my go-to for harder fights! Neuvillette is an absolutely insane DPS and has made the abyss a lot easier for me. When the banner comes out, you should definitely play their trials to decide which one you like more. If you want a phenomenal DPS, Neuvillette is fantastic. If you want a phenomenal support character, Kazuha is the way to go. They're both amazing, you really can't go wrong!

I mean... the new banner is fantastic and I'm thrilled about that, don't get me wrong. But for the rest, it still feels like they're not listening at all or at best half listening. We want to pet the animals - okay, have a limited event! We want harder combat for end game - okay, have a build guide! Where's our increased resin? Option to reply events? Option to replay story quests? Even just the ability to pick up all loot at once instead of standing there picking up each one by one, it's a small thing but would still have made this patch have some more substance. Overall I guess my reaction is somewhat disappointed, but it's an alright patch I guess.
Honestly i think that this patch is pretty good. Sure it doesn't have a new story or area, but the events look fun - especially the cat one - and the banners are good. I have seen some people say that the quality of life improvements are useless, but as someone who struggles to build characters, this is pretty good imo.

Even just the ability to pick up all loot at once instead of standing there picking up each one by one, it's a small thing but would still have made this patch have some more substance. Overall I guess my reaction is somewhat disappointed, but it's an alright patch I guess.
I already have Neuvillette, I don't like Kazuha, and I'm skipping everything, 4.6 will be more interesting to wish for :3

Honestly i think that this patch is pretty good. Sure it doesn't have a new story or area, but the events look fun - especially the cat one - and the banners are good. I have seen some people say that the quality of life improvements are useless, but as someone who struggles to build characters, this is pretty good imo.
