I respect the other pairs, but I am pretty strongly attached to Soukoku be it romantically or platonically, I like it both ways just depending on the day. I think it's because of their deep bond.

There's Aktugawa and Gin, who followed Mom in the Port Mafia and are in Chuuya's custody, then you Atsushi and Kyoka, the two who followed dad into the ADA and are in Dazai's custody. The 5th kid is obviously Q, or if you're into the crazy conspiracy theories, Aya Koda, because she's the perfect blend of both of them.

Like we all saw how Dazai kept on moving towards dark and maniac behavior but then Chuuya became his partner and slowly all the actions were finished by him, he did all the dirty works, and dazai didn't have to use his hands to clear stuff out, Chuuya filled his spot slowly, that is the reason Dazai could leave the mafia or else Mori would've just grabbed him back, he went towards the light but Chuuya was left in the dirt... Even though Dazai was the only one who knew he isn't a human Chuuya had so much humanity, towards his comrades, he treated his co-workers and team like family, even to show respect to the dead, he had the hunch to live life, to keep the humanity that was left off him... We all kniw all these are canon and head canons.... In an article it was explained thoroughly. Chuuya is a person with boundaries and an ethic code that he follows strictly. This code includes respecting the deceased (stops Dazai from shooting a dead enemy and respects Rimbaud when he was dying and afterwards) and he despises betrayal (reason why he dislikes Dazai so much). Dazai on the other hand is a depressed young man with little awareness of right and wrong (he doesnt feel empathy even when he works for the ADA) who basically changes sides not because of morals, but because his friend Odasaku suggested it. In the end, Chuuya is a "good" person working for the badies and Dazai is an "evil" person working with the goodies. Thats why they cant stand each other.

Dazai only lets Chuuya manhandle him, and Chuuya goes to the trouble of trying/making Dazai laugh depending on Anime or manga. He's the only one that gets a real smile out of Dazai without Dazai feeling like he's supposed to be smiling. Dazai is actually doing a lot better among the ADA than the PM, he has learned some compassion, but he's at his best and happiest when around Chuuya. In Dead Apple,Chuuya was the only one that didn't think Dazai was dead when the Dragon appeared, even Ango who is supposedly a friend of Dazai's believed him dead. Chuuya would essentially be commiting suicide if he used corruption and Dazai was actually dead. They rely on each other quite a bit even while being on separate sides. They trust each other more than anyone or anything else, no matter the betrayal between them. You also have to remember that Dazai is the one that brought Chuuya to the PM, they grew up together, and understood each other from their first meeting. How hard was it on Chuuya without Dazai by his side and how hurt must he have been when Dazai defected? On Dazai's end, it was probably his insecurities acting up, he didn't think Chuuya would be willing to come with him, or he didn't want to take Chuuya away from a second home/family after he was the one to take him from the Sheep and into the Port Mafia.
I love them truly they’re one of the best ships i ship period they’re like a puzzle one is powerful and careless and has room to spare in his brain the other is generally weak and incredibly careful and is a genius. They’ve both suffered a lot in a lot of similar things so i understand that they would be a couple, but as always no relationship is perfect. (All im about to say is from the canon info provided to us and i just put them together and got this) Dazai left chuuya without saying anything. He basically abandoned him his 4 year partner and his rival. His best friend. I understand him leaving but unless you’re someone who has been abandoned and set aside you wouldn’t understand the agony of that..

In an article it was explained thoroughly. Chuuya is a person with boundaries and an ethic code that he follows strictly. This code includes respecting the deceased (stops Dazai from shooting a dead enemy and respects Rimbaud when he was dying and afterwards) and he despises betrayal (reason why he dislikes Dazai so much). Dazai on the other hand is a depressed young man with little awareness of right and wrong (he doesnt feel empathy even when he works for the ADA) who basically changes sides not because of morals, but because his friend Odasaku suggested it. In the end, Chuuya is a "good" person working for the badies and Dazai is an "evil" person working with the goodies. Thats why they cant stand each other.
@@rulerthelion860 They're a lot deeper than just not being able to stand each other though. They know each other inside out. Dazai only lets Chuuya manhandle him, and Chuuya goes to the trouble of trying/making Dazai laugh depending on Anime or manga. He's the only one that gets a real smile out of Dazai without Dazai feeling like he's supposed to be smiling. Dazai is actually doing a lot better among the ADA than the PM, he has learned some compassion, but he's at his best and happiest when around Chuuya. In Dead Apple,Chuuya was the only one that didn't think Dazai was dead when the Dragon appeared, even Ango who is supposedly a friend of Dazai's believed him dead. Chuuya would essentially be commiting suicide if he used corruption and Dazai was actually dead. They rely on each other quite a bit even while being on separate sides. They trust each other more than anyone or anything else, no matter the betrayal between them. You also have to remember that Dazai is the one that brought Chuuya to the PM, they grew up together, and understood each other from their first meeting. How hard was it on Chuuya without Dazai by his side and how hurt must he have been when Dazai defected? On Dazai's end, it was probably his insecurities acting up, he didn't think Chuuya would be willing to come with him, or he didn't want to take Chuuya away from a second home/family after he was the one to take him from the Sheep and into the Port Mafia.

I love them truly they’re one of the best ships i ship period they’re like a puzzle one is powerful and careless and has room to spare in his brain the other is generally weak and incredibly careful and is a genius. They’ve both suffered a lot in a lot of similar things so i understand that they would be a couple, but as always no relationship is perfect. (All im about to say is from the canon info provided to us and i just put them together and got this) Dazai left chuuya without saying anything. He basically abandoned him his 4 year partner and his rival. His best friend. I understand him leaving but unless you’re someone who has been abandoned and set aside you wouldn’t understand the agony of that..
