I’ve noticed the price dropped in condo market market the last 2 years. I’ve own my condo at Cityplace for 10 years, my unit is almost 700sq ft on the south facing 18th floor with a huge balcony 125sq ft, including locker and parking. I love this neighbourhood other than the heavy traffic sometimes, but I am on Capreol Court, 2 blocks north of the Gardiner, so it’s quieter.i actually made a video about living at Cityplace called A Single Man at Cityplace for 10 Years. Condo living suits me well.
I think this is outrageous what it cost to rent an appointment in Toronto! This is truly the end of this world no wonder so many people is leaving on the street and others breaking the laws with illegal activities to make money so they can pay rent at the end of the month! God help us come Lord Jesus and take your Children to a better land!
Condo 1 > impossible to furnish in any practical way, too little storage, no actual outdoor space, and a walk-in closet redefined as a bedroom. I wouldn't take it at 1/2 the asking price. Condo 2 > the most practical for furnishing & actual living space although no en suite laundry as far as I could tell. Did have a marginally more workable kitchen area for a non Martha Stewart type resident. Bedroom space was workable. Probably the only condo of this video which I would even consider. Condo 3 > fairly nice views especially if you like highways, and good orientation facing S-W. Lots of natural light but very awkward living room space to furnish. No prep space in the kitchen & visible appliances are so ugly in an open plan layout. Not as impressed by the honking bit concrete pillar in the living area as I apparently should be. No bathtub would be a deal-breaker for me. And call me Luddite but I would be concerned what happens if there is ever another extended Hydro failure (been there, done that several times so far during my life). Even if the building has sufficient generators to light emergency exits etc. I doubt they would hold up over several days of building-wide use in a property that large, and with so much tech... I would feel very vulnerable to such a rare but not impossible scenario? The last big power outage in TO had me without fridge, stove, heat, hot water, or elevators for its duration and it was not fun! Just to prove I'm not a total B***h, I do thank you for an enjoyable video with good concise & detailed content, and excellent production values. I'll be checking for other content from you for sure.
The waterfront is a nice area to live the There is a corner studio in Toronto that was odd to see super nice all glass around it normally. Studio apartments condo are not corner ones
I like 10 York the most but regardless of the floor, you cannot avoid the road noise in the air. It doesn't matter if you're on the 20, 30, 40, 50 or even 60th floor. 2nd condo has a good floor plan too.
Typically between $0.60 and $0.90 cents per sqft. So if the condo is $500sqft at $0.75/sqft about $375/month give or take depending on the building and what utilities are included in the fee
Thanks for the condo tour, great video
#1.. did not like bedroom, and no parking
#2..nice,but no parking would be deal breaker
#3my favorite
Definitely #3!!
i HATE interior bedrooms.

Total insanity. Horrible.
10 York! What are you doing in my building lol

I might be the only one to like road noise
Love the condo tours!
Thank you! I’ll keep them coming!
was wondering about the monthly maintenance fees

Hi Dem!
Good video...BUT, for the last one, that is not going to be a little bit of noise. The traffic noise will be very loud almost 24/7 on the balcony.
