- This is it! The unveiling of the new greenhouse extension and remodeling. It’s beyond my expectations. I couldn’t wait to share it with you. My inspiration come from many avenues. Some from my home visits to other master orchid and plant growers, the Krull Smith, my beautiful partner Luíz, and of course my own personal artistic expression. The orchids dictated the way I display them. It’s an ever changing greenhouse orchadium. I take the opportunity of showing you what I have in bloom as well as what I brought back in my haul from Redland International Orchid Show. I breathed a sigh of relief when you spoke about watering more often. My gut would tell me to water but at the same time I was hesitant for fear of root rot. Now I feel better! Let the water 💦 flow!!! lol 😆

Thank you! I’m trying to do some how to videos now in the summer since everything slows down a bit with the shows. It’s just so hot outside that doing videos is very difficult. If you look at my last what’s in bloom you can see my exhaustion from the heat. When I was done filming I had to run inside and rest in the AC.
I want that BIGMARTHA color. I have been looking for that color vintage, antique. Sunset colors are my favorite. No one can get close to your collection. I need to go Hoya shopping with Laz I want one to start. We will always want more! LOOK at the size of your yard!!!

Nelson, this's what you would called a Gucci Orchids green house! You guys are so perfect for each other. I loved it! every things look so nice. It's funny I just bought Phal. Cornu Cervi too. I was not sure if I'm going to like the flower because it was still budding. I'm so in love with the blooms.

Nelson, the extension is a gem and you made it exactly like an orchid gallery! I have “pestered” Phil at Bredren’s for 2+ years for an “afriorchid “ after you showed it to us the first time and, every time I see him and ask him for it, he laughs and says: “oh Nelson”😜. But I am not giving up🤞🏻. I have also been trying to get a FL Rainbow from Krull-Smith but, last time I heard from Julien, just before Redland’s, he only had 2 for sale and I asked him to save 1 for me. Hopefully, now that Redland’s is done, they will be able to ship it next week🤞🏻. Thanks for another beautiful video and happy Memorial Day to you and Luis🇺🇸😍

That’s who selling them. What has been happening with curtain orchids that I introduced and showcase on my channel, tend to sell out soon after due to people calling and ordering those orchids. The Florida Rainbow was abundant at Krull Smith. But I have been featuring it allot so I’m not surprised they are down to only 2. Give Afriorchids a try. Teresita got hers there.

Very nice!!! Your orchid house reminds me of mine when I lived in Miami. I've been growing orchids for over 40 years. I now live in North Carolina and still grow orchids, but also native plants, thus putting orchids to the side for a bit. This video has inspired me to do more with my orchids. Thanks you for this video. I left Miami after Hurricane Andrew and remember going to the Fruit and Spice Park for the orchid festivals.

Hi Nelson You were requesting the name of a Dendrobium ( white petals and sepals and a orange lip ) you purchased at PAM's, i do hope i can be of some help. There are different hybrids that resemble each other very much, here a few names, you can match up with in the internet: D. green lantern, D. frosty Dawn, D. frosty maree.
