I agree with you. I just bought one one month ago and I love it. I wouldn’t have my house without it now I’m afraid to go out of the house and if I had to go to the bathroom, I have to reach back to my business and clean it not looking forward to that.
I'd recommend installing the remote holder on the side at shoulder level while seated... not the back behind the user. it is awkward to turn to the back while seated so better to install on the side. because you will probably want to keep the remote in its stand when not in use.

You install one. It’s simple. We have had our Toto C5 for several years and love it. We just added a second bathroom and our now installing a second Toro C5. We placed a the power source in the same place that our first bathrooms existing plug in was.

What good is sitting on a cold seat and having to wait for it to heat up? If you live in any cold area of US, there is nothing like sitting on a warm seat in the winter when the house thermostat is set low. Chicago resident here. 🥶

But I've never had my thermostat set to any lower than 70° in my home so it's always warm throughout my home if I'm home. But I guess different types of homes in different types of heating systems should be factored in to your equation. All in all, what you're saying does make total sense. Mine is fully tightened but it moves. It's not the mounting bracket to toilet that moves. It's the toilet seat attachment to mounting bracket that moves.
@@zachmurphthe part that shifts is the clip in mechanism of the unit itself. So if you see the video at :37 the mounting bracket attached to the toilet is solid. It doesn't move at all. It's the unit that moves and there isn't a way to tighten it. It's a common problem for this design.

4:08, the Ewater+ isn't for the pre-mist, it's only for cleaning the wand according to the official TOTO documentation... Ewater+ for the bowl (the "pre-mist") only happens when you upgrade to at least the S300e
Have a Toto bidet. Two things.... If there's ANY hardness in the water (have scale on faucets?), the nozzles will clog eventually. Happened to first unit. Have a water softener now, without issues. There's an activated carbon air filter for the fan that should be replaced when the unit blows "funky" smelling air. Search YT for replacement procedure.
Do any PFAS from this Washlet exit via the water stream? Is it less than bleached toilet paper has? Has any testing been done to test the water ran through the toilet seat, especially considering the heating option?
Sadly there's probably PFAS already in your water anyway, depending on where you are. That shit is everywhere, man. My city said they won't have the facilities to lower PFAS to proper levels for 10 more years.
I would say about 20-40 seconds before the water starts getting cold. Selected water pressure and temperature settings will also determine whether you run out of hot water sooner.
Anyone figure out a way to stop it from wobbling side to side? It's happening a bit too often, and starting to be an annoying issue as I need to adjust it every time I finish my business to keep it centered.
This specific model does not support the auto/on demand flush function. The K300, S7, and S7A does support auto flush capability with the use of a compatible auto flush kit.
Would this be able to clean pop? My disabled son can't wipe and we have to wipe him. We use baby wipes to clean him. The problem is that if he goes to the bathroom and we are not aware he will wait but after a while he will just get up and pull his underwear up and not tell us till he sees us.

TOTO does offer a repair service for $175 flat rate which covers the repair of the entire seat. They will replace any broken parts on it. Plus you get a one year full coverage warranty after repair (excluding courtesy repair) only if your washlet is already out of warranty.
You are supposed to install one. Apparently they usually use enough power that they require a gfci on a dedicated line to the electrical box. If doing a new build, it’s smart to put one in just in case, so you don’t have to run cable through drywall later.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND TOTO WASHLETS! Ours stopped working in 2 years. When we called to get trouble-shooting assistance, we were informed we need to ship the seat to the repair factory which will take 2 weeks. They indicated local repair might be available but then said we didn't meet the criteria for this service. The agent wasn't very friendly until I pointed out he didn't seem to care that I would have a seatless toilet for at least 2 weeks. Not sure why any appliance fails in this short amount of time but save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable option and one where the company cares about customer service.

You just have to find the right agent when calling their tech support. I've learned that the hard way when one of the agent straight up refuses to help. Sorry you went through this. Also, TOTO doesn't offer local repair services so not sure where they got that info from. It's either sent either to their California or Georgia facility, depending on where you live. Besides, TOTO is one of the most reliable bidet brands out there. If you go to Japan, you'll see a ton of washlet units that are over 7+ year old in both public and residential that are still in use today. Plus I've tried different brands of seats and I do still prefer TOTO even though the prices for these are a bit high for my standard.

i tightened the seat bracket and the seat doea not shift at all. try tightening it turn more. good luck and nice video
Mine is fully tightened but it moves. It's not the mounting bracket to toilet that moves. It's the toilet seat attachment to mounting bracket that moves.

Luckily Japan used approx same voltage and same 2 pin jack. Otherwise, it’s a $1500 toilet seat only.

C5 has premist, its the Ewater+ for bowl isnt there but only for the wand, ewater+ is different to premist.

There is no PFAS emitted from the wand and the stream. They use a ceramic heater to heat the water.

Yes you can turn off the water heater using the remote if needed

Yes, it cleans poo. Though I've found you still need a bit of toilet paper for the final wipe.
