I have a 98 SC300 I bought from an older guy who bought it brand new when it came out. He over maintained the car when he owned it and has zero rust and the interior is in like perfect condition. The car sat for about probably 3 1/2 to 4 years before I bought it and was garage kept for the years it did. The older guy couldn't drive it anymore since he had medical problems where it made it where he couldn't drive anymore so he decided to sell it and I bought it and absolutely love the car.
Just picked up a factory manual 93 300 fully rebuilt, completely stock for 7k, paint still looks great and completely rust free, I have a lot of plans for making it a luxury weekend car.
Most SC's out there are 400's and they were built as GT's w 160mph speedo"s "Long distances at Hi speeds" which I've done throughout the West for the 20yrs I've had it. The Best built, most reliable production car ever built

I picked a sc300 up for $800 with no knowledge on why it wouldn’t start that had been sitting for 3ish years. I knew what I was getting into but turns out it’s got a major disappearing coolant issue, so far the only thing wrong with it plus lower control arms/bearing tend to go out alot as well on these, but just know for anyone interested I would expect the unexpected with these.

Aye, I got me a factory manual, but its a fixer upper with high mileage. Still runs great. But i need a total engine rebuild before i can add forced induction😎
Good evening everyone. I’ve had a ‘97 SC300 since 2000. Of ALL the cars I’ve owned, it’s been my favorite and the best! I’m in the Charlotte NC area and need a very reputable mechanic. Any tips will be greatly appreciated! Thank y’all
