According to this passage @ Exodus 21:22 , the bible clearly says "... Yet no mischief follow..." . This Shows that the person who attacked the woman and lead to the death of her fruit, yet not intentionally was to be punished and fined . Now abortion isn't an unintentional act. It's done out of will and intent . This is regarded as mischief. Thus the law of " A life for a Life..." will apply in this instance. Gen 9:6 “Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. Scriptures clearly states that " the life , is in the blood" . This means that a baby in the womb is a living being. So as far as abortion involves blood shed. Who ever sheds another's blood is blood guilty and the blood of that peron will be asked of him , in the day of Judgement. Be it a an unborn baby or the one that has been given birth to.

The beauty of the Bible is that it is open to interpretation. That’s why there’s so many Christian denominations. We can’t decide on what the Bible is actually saying so we split up into smaller groups that do their own thing. This isnt a secret. It’s very obvious. And there is definitely a recipe for abortion in the Bible. It doesn’t matter if the woman was unfaithful or not. Hope your parents are walking on the long and narrow or God might come for YOU. How loving, right?
Read Numbers 5:1' Numbers 3:15-16 Exodus 21:22-23 Hosea 13:16 you make up your own mind. Jesus said that you shall know them by their fruit. Fruit also means a child. So, whatever you do to the child, we shall know you because of what you do to your fruit. Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone; or if he shall ask for a fish, will give him a serpent? Matthew 7:9-12
Hi. There's a very limited selection of relevant Bible quotations used in this video. I suggest four others have much relevance. 1/ (Ecc 3:3) "A time to kill, a time to heal--" This suggests that mercy killing was acceptable in some situations, such as military casualties who had no hope of recovering from their injuries. 2/ "If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out cast it away" (Matt 18:9). In this verse Jesus tells believers they can do as they wish with their own body. Life ends when the heart stops beating, so I'd suggest life starts when the heart starts beating. That's about six weeks into pregnancy, before which it belongs to the owner as a collection of cells that can be discarded, just like "the eye" that Jesus assures us can be "cast away" if it offends us. 3/ "There are some who are born eunuchs, are made eunuchs by men, and some who choose to become eunuchs for the kingdom of God's sake" (Matt 19:12). Eunuchs were castrated as children to become docile slaves without family loyalties. They were trusted to control harems of women. Clearly Jesus accepted the mutilation of the organs of generation for the sake of slavery, so it's hard to see him getting upset about early abortions. What is a castration if it isn't also a complete abortion of the castratee's genetic future? Let's use a single standard, not a double standard. 4/ According to Scripture life begins when the first breath is taken (Gen 2:7). This clearly points out that "God breathed into man's nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul". (The words "pneuma", "breath", and "spirit" all mean the same thing.) Using this scripture to allow abortions up to 9 months would clearly be a very poor decision, but one literally based on the Bible nonetheless. I suggest Christians read ALL their Bible, and not just cherry pick. I'm not a Christian, I'm a scientific Theist, but I'd suggest my "heartbeat" definition of "when life begins" is the best practical compromise. It protects unborn infants as far as possible without taking away a woman's right to do as she wishes with her own body during the first six weeks when it is her body alone. Cheers, P.R.
It's more than just murder. It's child sacrifice, which God condemns in the Bible. We just don't sacrifice the child to a pagan idol, we just sacrifice it for convenience sake.
I’m not pro-choice, but come on, if a mother could die from giving birth, don’t pressure her into going through with the pregnancy in hopes of a miracle.

1)Context- Solomon is talking about the cycle of life and God’s plan. I fail to see a plan that would include making a life just to dispose of it in the womb. 2)The scripture is talking about the body of the church. Anything that cause the body to lose its spiritual growth must be removed. Life as we know it may end when the heart stops but then is immediately in God’s hands. Life begins at conception. Science proves this. Dead things don’t grow. Only life grows.

Book of Enoch 1: Chapter 68 17. The name of the fifth is Kasyade: he discovered to the children of men every wicked stroke of spirits and of demons: 18. The stroke of the embryo in the womb, to diminish it; the stroke of the spirit by the bite of the serpent, and the stroke which is given in the mid-day by the offspring of the serpent, the name of which is Tabaet. Book of Jasher: Chapter 2 20. And some of the sons of men caused their wives to drink a draught that would render them barren, in order that they might retain their figures and whereby their beautiful appearance might not fade. 21. And when the sons of men caused some of their wives to drink, Zillah drank with them. 22. And the child-bearing women appeared abominable in the sight of their husbands as widows, whilst their husbands lived, for to the barren ones only they were attached. 23. And in the end of days and years, when Zillah became old, the Lord opened her womb.
Dude you have to be in truth, regardless of what you want it to say. Exodus 21 in context does not seem indicate the same sentence for harm to a baby in the womb vs a baby outside of the womb. Note the additional injuries part which your argument seems to depend on to link this to 'life for life' sentence. 'Further mischief' indicates harm after the initial strike that caused the woman to drop her pregnancy- (literally have her fruit come out), so that would be harm to the born child, not the fetus that the law would apply to. Furthermore a fetus is not going to get a burn from a strike against the mother, if the baby is injured by burn, it is after it is born. Such a young premature baby is also very unlikely to have teeth, so the 'tooth for a tooth' seems to be for the woman, so the harm after the initial strike does not seem to apply to the fetus, perhaps to the baby (as it should) unquestionably to the mother. This is perhaps the scripture that best indicates birthrights, when the baby gains protections under the law. Note also that Jesus was born (as opposed to conceived) under the law (Gal 4:4). Biblically there is a great emphasis on birthrights, it's necessity, and just to add conception rights AFAIK does not exist in the Bible.
Numbers 5 verses 19 through 22: Then the priest shall make her take an oath, saying, “If no man has lain with you, if you have not turned aside to uncleanness while under your husband’s authority, be immune to this water of bitterness that brings the curse. But if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority, if you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has had intercourse with you,” -let the priest make the woman take the oath of the curse and say to the woman-“the Lord make you an execration and an oath among your people, when the Lord makes your uterus drop, your womb discharge; now may this water that brings the curse enter your bowels and make your womb discharge, your uterus drop!” And the woman shall say, “Amen. Amen.” This is the Bible. Not only mentioning how to perform an abortion but ordering that an ordained priest is needed to perform it.

Taking what choice away? The choice of murdering a most vulnerable life who receives death penalty for someone's sin? It's not a loss of freedom, but a gain of freedom to the innocent preborns. Exodus 21:22-23 “And when they strive together men and they injure woman pregnant so that they go out children of her but not he is mortal injury to fine he shall be fined. As he shall place on him husband of the woman and he shall give on judgements. But if harm he is then you shall give life in place of life” (The Hebrew-English Interlinear ESV Old Testament; Literal reading) This passage is about a violent argument between men, where there is a pregnant woman present near them. During this struggle, the woman is somehow “injured” (nâgaph, which can also include fatal injuries), which caused the “children (masculine plural, boys), to “come out” (yâtsâ’) of the woman. It is clear from the Hebrew, that the “mortal injury” is of the children, and not the woman, as we have the masculine, singular, “’âsôn” used, as the ESV rightly reads, “he is”. “’âsôn” is used in the Old Testament for serious, and even fatal injuries. The Hebrew “wə·yā·ṣə·’ū yə·lā·ḏe·hā”, literally, “children come out”, is translated as “to miscarry”, or, “born prematurely”, or “fruit depart”, or “come out”, etc, in our English Versions. The masculine plural, shows that there is more than one boy in the womans womb. In verse 23, “’âsôn” is used to show that either, one, or both of the boys died from the result of the injuries sustained by the woman, during this violent argument between the two men. It is clear, “then you shall give life in place of life”, which is a requirement of death, and not injury. It is clear from verse 23, that if the child, or children, died, which can only mean, “to miscarry”, and not as some English translations read, “she gives birth prematurely”, as in the NASB, as this does not mean that the child or children, did not live. “she has a miscarriage”, is used in these Versions: NAB; NASB 1977; Douay-Rheims Bible; NRSV; Lasma Syriac Bible; The Contemporary Torah, JPS, 2006, etc Abortion in the Bible is MURDER

@@millenadecampos7192 So in your view, the woman should be punished for the sins of the rapist by carrying his child. I surely wouldn't want to find out what happens in a "no abortion" state when the unborn child becomes a Fetus Terrible.
If a raped woman shouldn't be punished by the sin committed by a rapist by carrying the child, then why the child who is purely innocent should be punished, let alone it doesn't change the fact that he/she is still created by God? Nevertheless, according to the statistics, less than 1% of abortion is related to rape. I don't understand why we are so interested in discussing the < 1% as if it's the cause of abortion. Let's think a bit straight about this misleading issue. How many of you ever met a woman who ended a pregnancy because of rape? For me, none. How many women have abortions for their own conveniences? Many. And, out of less than 1% of pregnancy resulted from rape, I know women who chose life. If we believe in the God of the Bible, we shouldn't act as if we are wiser than Him. If you don't, it doesn't change anything.
simply not true the fact that the bible treats abortion as murder. exodus 21.22 and 21.23, just read it. unbelievable that this video has so many views
I love the biblical teaching from this ministry, but the interpretation here is biased and slanted. The verses mentioned never affirm or condemn a women's right to choose. The verse from Exodus is about a man causing the death of an unborn baby by accident and mis-interpreted to compare to a woman deciding to have an abortion. Just because many Christians do not agree with abortion doesn't mean we get to twist the word of God with our interpretation. Also, to say that a baby should not be punished for the evil act of their father is one that most believe in, but throughout the Old Testament, God routinely punishes children for the sins of their fathers, so that is NOT a biblical stance. Lastly, lets not forget that God also killed many many many children in the Old Testament.
To compare a premeditated murdering of a sinner with God's righteous judgment upon sinners is almost arrogant. Drawing a parallel between the perfectly legitimate act of a holy and just God and the filthy deeds of sinners is blasphemous. Who are you to judge God?
I'm pretty sure he wasn't directly comparing the verse from Exodus to a woman deciding to have abortion. His point was that God considers an unborn child as living and having the same value as any other human life.
@@peterchou6557 if you’ve actually read the Old Testament, you would know that God’s actions did not align with the whole “every child’s life is precious” cliches that the pro-life movement uses. @@Adrian-lt3su he used that verse in an argument against abortion. That is a comparison. It just isn’t a very good one. You aren’t Christian, the question is that is abortion allowed in Christianity. Also, “control over your body????” At that point why don’t you just commit any sin and say “well it’s my body”
The bible is silent about abortion because abortion does not involve salvation for the mother nor fetus. In fact the bible does not condemn abortion. The bible assumes that a human being starts at birth (first breath) and ends at death (last breath). Historically, what makes a human a human is DNA (one or more cells containing human DNA). A human being is a human (contains cells with human DNA) and has being (functional human organs like heart, stomach, lungs, etc.). A fetus is human (contains human DNA) but is not a human being until it has functional organs (which are evident at birth). Because a fetus (generally) lacks functional organs it has the potential to become a human being but is not a human being. In fact 30% to 70% of all fertilized eggs fail to reach birth. Just claiming that God knows a fetus (Jer 1:5) and knit (using DNA) the parts of the fetus (Psa 39:13-16) does not make a fetus a baby or child. It just proves that after God was done with creation, he left a wonderful mechanism (DNA) behind that builds a fetus into a human being at birth (or near birth). Exodus 21:22-31 is mistranslated. It actually supports abortion by saying that if a miscarriage (like abortion) occurs by 2 fighting men, the guilty party is to pay a fine and in the other case that the mother is injured it will be eye for eye, tooth for tooth, and similarly for hand, foot, wound, bruise and life. Obviously, eye, tooth, hand, foot, wound, bruise and life applies only to a mother because a fetus may not have these developed parts. Psa 51:5 claims that the fetus was brought forth in iniquity and in sin was conceived in the womb which contradicts the notion that a fetus is innocent of sin. Since the bible shows that a fetus is not a human being the 6th commandment (thou shall not murder) does not apply. In fact if the 6th commandment applied to a fetus, then the other commands would apply like thou shall not commit adultery with a fetus, thou shall not steal from a fetus, thou shall not covet what the fetus has, and thou shall not lie to a fetus. Obviously these commands apply to a neighbor (not a fetus) as Jesus said Love your neighbor as your self.
Because they sinned and did everything god didn’t want them to do and he gave them an option to go in the arc if they wanted to be saved but they still didn’t listen and then he also promised he’ll never do it again and stuck to it, he didn’t kill almost everyone they killed themselves by being disobedient. I hope I explained that we’ll :)

What a misunderstanding of the verses you picked especially.
[Exo 21:22 KJV] 22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart [from her], and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges [determine].
IT SAYS THAT THE MAN THAT CAUSES THE LOST TOBE FINED (PUNISHED) NOT PUT TO DEATH. But if the woman dies it will be life for life.
That's what I read also
that's incorrect, it says that if the child dies the man should die as well.
@certaindisciple
I agree with you. But the point here is also the fruit of the womb is recognized as a child, aka. a life, not a mere lump of cells.
@@peterchou6557 actually not a child at all but a property nice try though and before you argue I've studied theology and was a Christian for 14 years local missionary for 2
According to this passage @ Exodus 21:22 , the bible clearly says "...
I just used the info you provided to correct a man who calls himself “JeGAYsus” who, in one of his videos, is trying to twist the Bible to say that it condones abortion and doesn’t consider a child in the womb a human being. I knew he was wrong, but you pointed me to the info I needed to correct him not only on a moral and logical level, but on a biblical level to expose his lies about God and the Bible. Subscribing and sharing. God bless you. 🙏
How loving, right?

you make up your own mind.
Excellent video.
It's more than just murder. It's child sacrifice, which God condemns in the Bible. We just don't sacrifice the child to a pagan idol, we just sacrifice it for convenience sake.
Yes, amen! Totally agree! It’s so wrong, but people who do not believe in God will not see any of this.
How about god sacrifice? Do you have problem with that too?

It’s murder.
The verses mentioned in this video are taken out of context, if you read carefully the whole text and not just the verses, you can realized that they don't say what is interpreted in the video...
So how about the breath of life?
Exactly it was quoted three times in the Old testament and one time in the New testament these Christians love cherry picking

Children in the womb have the breath of life in them and are therefore living beings.

Book of Enoch 1: Chapter 68
17. The name of the fifth is Kasyade: he discovered to the children of men every wicked stroke of spirits and of demons:
18. The stroke of the embryo in the womb, to diminish it; the stroke of the spirit by the bite of the serpent, and the stroke which is given in the mid-day by the offspring of the serpent, the name of which is Tabaet.
Book of Jasher: Chapter 2

A very important message, thanks. If somebody can't raise a child, then giving it for adoption is a good option. Much better than killing.
Numbers 5 verses 19 through 22:
Then the priest shall make her take an oath, saying, “If no man has lain with you, if you have not turned aside to uncleanness while under your husband’s authority, be immune to this water of bitterness that brings the curse. Amen.”
This is the Bible. Not only mentioning how to perform an abortion but ordering that an ordained priest is needed to perform it.

It's murdered thy shall not kill
Exodus 21:22-23
“And when they strive together men and they injure woman pregnant so that they go out children of her but not he is mortal injury to fine he shall be fined. As he shall place on him husband of the woman and he shall give on judgements. But if harm he is then you shall give life in place of life” (The Hebrew-English Interlinear ESV Old Testament; Literal reading)
This passage is about a violent argument between men, where there is a pregnant woman present near them.
“she has a miscarriage”, is used in these Versions: NAB; NASB 1977; Douay-Rheims Bible; NRSV; Lasma Syriac Bible; The Contemporary Torah, JPS, 2006, etc
Abortion in the Bible is MURDER
It’s also the fact women have to go through a painful traumatic experience and they shouldn’t have to go through that because of rape
Hm you know that abortion due to rape happens very rarely, it’s less than 1% of all the abortions. Plus the child has done no harm, the rapist should be punished not an innocent.
I don't think he paid attention.
@@millenadecampos7192 So in your view, the woman should be punished for the sins of the rapist by carrying his child. I surely wouldn't want to find out what happens in a "no abortion" state when the unborn child becomes a Fetus Terrible.
@@VicGeorge2K6 no, I actually think in cases of rape the women should have the right to chose, or when her life is at risk, the rest is BS
How about the old testament when a man beats a woman and kills a pregnant child, it's not a life before the breath. Its scripture.
Jacob I have loved. Esau I have hated. He knows you in the womb and if you're ment to be born. You can't out due God.

simply not true the fact that the bible treats abortion as murder. exodus 21.22 and 21.23, just read it. unbelievable that this video has so many views

@@Adrian-lt3su he used that verse in an argument against abortion. That is a comparison. It just isn’t a very good one. And ask for all the Bible thumpers you need to have accountability for yourselves and stop worrying about others and also says in the Bible do not pass judgment upon another person that is not your right God is the only one who has that right you were supposed to forgive and love regardless
Some of the worst wars in the history of men have been fault over ignorance of religion like for instance the Christian crusades of the day that wiped out masses of families children women
The Salem witch trials that wiped out women by overly zealous Christian people or people who were just fucking stupid
As I say stay in your fucking lane and out of other peoples it is not your decision to choose whether not a person should get rid of their child
Whether that child be an adult or a clump of cells
The mother or the father has the rights to straight that child down no matter what age or what time and place if they deem fit that’s what you need to remember about what the Bible says
This guy makes a few statements about some phrases in the Bible that don’t actually say what he’s making it say but he spins it to try and attain some kind of a righteousness to his call or to the call of whatever faith that you believe
This is the honest truth and I understand it can hurt for truth usually does hurt but we need to grow and move past our childish thoughts and needs and understand that we are all individuals who are supposed to be in control of our own lives not the lives of others worry about your house and keeping it in order as opposed to trying to keeping someone else’s houses in order

That's God punishing an unfaithful woman with a miscarriage.
@@VicGeorge2K6 So God approves of causing miscarriages? Just for adultery? Sounds like God's an abortionist to me.
Only in the NIV translation
IF God is so pro-life then why did he kill almost everyone in the great flood?
Because they sinned and did everything god didn’t want them to do and he gave them an option to go in the arc if they wanted to be saved but they still didn’t listen and then he also promised he’ll never do it again and stuck to it, he didn’t kill almost everyone they killed themselves by being disobedient.
