This song has touched me throughout the years so much. Over ten years ago I was with my dad when he passed away. He was a believer and he was my hero all my life. On one hand it was the worst day of my life to lose my hero, but on the other hand I was with him at the end. When he was in the throes of death and unable to breathe he stood up from his chair (how I don't know) and was reaching his hand upwards toward the eastern sky as if someone were handing him something small and precious. His gaze was fixed as he reached upwards. He left this earth a few minutes later. Later God gave me the Scripture in Revelation 2:17, "I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it.." I think that as dad was getting ready to enter his home in heaven he was receiving some sort of gift from the Father. In dad's belongings I found the CD with this song. I kept it in my truck and played this song thousands of times for comfort and assurance. I was with dad when he started to cross the Jordan. This song has been my anchor when I was hurting and doubting. Praise God for His amazing gift of His Son Who paid the price so I will see my dad and the Father when I cross the Jordan!

@@cthomas5962 No she didn't die.. She did have cancer but when removed it was all dried up... She is now back to singing as I have seen in several other videos.. She is a treasure for sure!

Good song but Worship of God has become entertainment and showmanship of man.
Sadly for the most part I agree with you but I am one of the few singers who sings for God not for man. I sometimes feel like the last of the mohican.
David said praise thy Lord with all the heart and mind. All kinds of people on Earth will respond in different ways to praise to the Father. A powerful sermon from a true minister of the Father, a Holy Ghost filled service, or a toe tapping song everyone wants to join in singing and clapping their hands. Those who do it for fame or fortune don't make it for long. The Father will not allow such a person to prosper. But just wait until you get to Heaven and all the joy and praise you will hear!!!!!
