This was my second trip to Bimini. The first time was almost 10 years ago. This was my first time taking my girlfriend and fishing in Bimini. You have no idea how surprised I was when I saw you, as we were approaching the gas station. We spent a few days in Bimini fishing and caught a 48 inch amberjack as well as other fish. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning in the near future. it was nice to see you spending time with your wife., I love spending time with my girlfriend on the boat and sharing new experiences. I hope our paths cross again sometime in the future. Safe boating!

My wife has convinced herself that she will get seasick on my boat...and does, even on flat calm water. Yet she can read her cell phone all day in a moving car! I'm sure it's psychosomatic, and she probably doesn't want to go out on the boat with me anyway. Whatever. I enjoy the peace and quiet so no argument here.

My first trip to the Sapona was in 1993. The decks were still solid and easy to walk on and only about half of the ribs were open. It's amazing how fast it is deteriorating. Good to see that you are back in Bimini.

After years of crossing to Bimini in a 24' boat, and hearing people tell me you "Have to have 30 feet to make the crossing" it's fun to see someone in a 21 doing it regularly and safely.
I always say "You have to have 30 feet to make the crossing whenever you want regardless of weather. But you could go in a bathtub if you're willing to wait for the right weather window."
Kirk that is so true cap all small boats need to wait for the rite weather conditions and if you look at my prevue's thanks for watching cap. years i just to make this crossings all the time in a 19 foot Yamaha 190 FSH
Watch DIY Waterworld videos. He does the crossing in much smaller craft. 13-1/2’ on the last video I watched.

Great to see your First Mate back on the "CPH", Captain. Seems you are inspiring others to do more boating and are quite the celebrity, well deserved! The missing 5 torpedo bombers I believe are one of the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon...? I did a term paper on the Bermuda Triangle 40+ years ago.

I noticed you snorkeling with the shark leash. Good to have but trailing that thing behind you around a wreck or reef could get tangled. Have you ever looked into “Sharkbanz”? Fits like a bracelet and doesn’t trail. I would wear one on the wrist and one on the ankle in known shark areas. I even wear one my ankle at the beach here on the east coast of florida. No guarantees but something to think about.
Hello cap. And yes is great to have her onboard, and my chark shiel has more electricity power to repel sharks compared to a bracelet cap. And the shark shield has a velcro that you can Dissatesh very quickly

the police docking is off limits cap that is only for them and i dont like docking at the marina because there is lots of current there and i already had a accident there cap and im usually single handed and i don't have a bow thruster

Most people go behind a freighter instead of speeding up and passing in front.
very true cap but behind the Freighter they are huge swells and i have a 21 feet boat and i have done that in the past and they are dicult to handle with my small Crooked PilotHouse cap.
