Hi Sam, It's nice to see you out and about and showing us another video. Wow, the colours in the ferns were amazing. Great image's as usual mate. Catch you on the next one.
No wonder you felt like a kid in a sweet shop - what wonderful conditions! Really enjoyed the photos you came away with too Sam, they certainly portrayed the beauty of the area. Thanks for a great video
Great to see another one of your videos from paradise. That car park picture at 07:34 stands out to me, another one for me to look out for next year haha!
Ican see why you were prepared to drive the two hours! Stunning location and some great images, really like the images with the mist rolling through the scene. Like the message behind the video as well, to go out without any expectations , something i for one need to do and get out more often than i currently do. Great video Sam, really enjoyed that one !
Well I don't see so many videos from you these days Sam but boy oh boy when you do release one it is worth a watch. Such a chilled vibe and that place really is a sweet shop in autumn landscape photography. Lovely filming and gorgeous images Sam, great watch as always. atb Al
Great to see you out and about again Sam. You certainly captured the autumn colour and atmosphere of the place beautifully - even if you barely left the car park! I keep trying to go out with no preconceived ideas/expectations and get more enjoyment from the experience, even though I often get no worthwhile images, it's the sense of trying something different that's the fun.
Great to see a new vlog Sam! Autumn this year was a good one, so much colour and fairly gentle weather (until recently) meant the leaves stayed around. You’ve captured some lovely images here. I take it that was the Canon 70-200 you were using?
Beautiful location. Its been a l9ng time since i visted scotland. Time constraints and commitments do not permit it. Have to "slum" it in the lake district :)
Do you actually need that tripod? I'd expect to hold your camera in my hands for those photos, without a tripod. I've used a tripod twice that I can remember in the past few months. Once for timelapsing, and today when I put a Lumix G9 with a Lumix 100-400 lens on so I could photograph Flinders Is (Western Australia). If I read Google Maps correctly, there was about 8 Km of salty air between camera and subject. I thought there was a chain of rocks between, Google says it's an island chain. What ever, the wind and surf were up. Since I've started treatment for AMl Leukaemia, my photography has mostly been constrained to the route from home to FSH and return, and around my favourite cafe which happens to be near the Indian Ocean. Photographing the same stuff day after day has forced me to learn new ways of handling the camera, and new ways of processing them in Photoshop. I reckon I'm a better photographer for it.
@@keithfoster3831 hi Keith, I’ve been having some IT issues that have delayed it a bit, and also just haven’t had the time to work on it! I release videos when they’re ready and don’t feel the need to rush them. I only do this as a hobby after all, so I don’t feel the need to pressure myself into releasing videos to a schedule.
I do respect your decision, I do photography as a hobby also, I have two businesses that are my living so I have very little time to do the landscape photography I love . Enjoy your photography Sam. Live long and prosper, not in money, but memories of your days out with the camera .
@@keithfoster3831 thank you very much Keith! I also don’t find I have as much time to do photography as I’d like with my work, despite living where I do, but then I also enjoy my job as well, and it just makes me value the time I spend with the camera even more!
A great video Sam.
Some stunning shots.
Well done.

😂 Oh dear! I do love the lakes, but I am a bit biased towards Scotland! Hope you make it up again soon.

While it’s a lovely video of early autumn, why have you waited until well into December to release it ? Seems odd .

Did one better, I set up a bird feeder outside my bathroom window. Took the screen out and most important I stay war.
