@radiohead2206 in the last 25 years have you noticed any new buildings or roads in and around the GTA? You see grass is natural drainage, when you pave over it and don't put in proper drainage you will eventually have a drainage problem. Also, this rain happens every year. It's from Hurricane season and we get the fallout every single year.

For the love of Lois Lanes loins people, if you can’t go around a flooded section of roadway, ALWAYS proceed at a slow speed(water will flow around the vehicle), and NEVER barrel through it like you’re in the Indy 500 otherwise, water will get into your engine components and stall the car.

@@WDWTV506Helper Good luck with that when you're fried by lightning.
This is a bit anecdotal but Toronto is a cesspool unless you have money and can afford to live in nicer neighbourhoods but even that isn't guaranteed anymore with the rash of burglaries and car theft in the the Bridle Path community, the creme de la creme of neighbourhoods in the GTA. I was actually driving back from Niagara on the Lake and passed by Grimsby and wow, there are super nice homes in that area. Homes in the millions but in the GTA proper, they would be $5-10M whereas in Hamilton (Stoney Creek / Grimsby) it's more 'affordable' at 2-5M.
Pipe dream for the majority of us but if you have a car, drive by those areas... it's like seeing first hand how the other side lives. Majestic homes with even more majestic vistas of nature right in their backyard unlike in Toronto you look outside your window, you see crack heads and general debauchery from society's worst!
