I think Agatha taking the power is more like being an addict. Not being able to stop because she was "high" off of it. I don't think she even noticed that she was killing anyone.
I'm not even sure if she can control it. she said to Lilia in the last episode she cant take her power even if she wanted to, and mentioned she can only do it when people blast her. Maybe it happens instinctually.

@@aref3777 Some people have speculated that it’s something where once Agatha starts/decides to take the power, she can’t stop it, and it’s really hard for her to not take the power as it’s so intoxicating (and she was never taught how to control it) that she can’t help it except for very rare circumstances.

I totally agree that the modest CGI and abundance of practical effects is deliberate. In fact, I think it's deliberately an homage to the wizard of Oz. Painted background, real fire on set, even traveling along the road to get your wish granted... Agatha is dark Dorothy. Or, Billy is... However you think the metaphor works better

I'm gonna be honest, I never notice "bad CGI" except in Thor love and thunder. Whenever people say that the CGI looked bad, I literally 98% if the time don't notice it and then when I go back and rewatch and look for it, I still can't see it.

Really glad they didn't hold the wiccan reveal until the last episode or 2. It was a bit too obvious to me, 3 more episodes of "who could he be" would've been a bit too much

yeah this is much more fun - they often play these things out far too long (like we all knew who Agatha was right away in Wanda-Vision). This way we get some screen time with the actual character and it opens up a bunch more possibilities story-wise.
The deliberately holding back reveals made The Acolyte a tedious watch week to week. I feel ya

I think the CG in the broom flying scene also helps to really make this show feel more like a television show, and less like a Marvel movie stretched out into a television show
I’d rather they cheap on the CGI and focus on a script and great great/fun actors.
Edit… the F-up on She Hulk was that the writing sucked. It had so much potential. But it needed better writers and less CGI.
@@leslie3937she hulk is not a good comparison. That wasn’t meant to really be a narrative driven show. It was literally pitched written and shot as a law sitcom with mcu undertones. I agree the ending is meh due to all the buildup of it, but its message remains true. We expect everything and it doesn’t have to be that way anymore. Also less cgi is what a lot of people’s issues with it are. We needed better not more or less. More time if anything. A better comparison would be secret invasion.

She hulk relied heavily on CGI because, well half the cast are CGI creations. What are your specific issues with the writing? In a show where nothing was meant to be serious?
@@leslie3937 She-Hulk is a bad example, it wasn't the writing that killed it, it was the direction, it was pitched as a legal dramedy and then they didn't get any legal experts for the court scenes, or anyone in general to make sure the story was consistent from episode to episode. It's a good thing Daredevil went back to be redone, or it could have been just as bad.
Fuck, that ending was fantastic. My roommate, who watches a lot of mcu stuff but has no interest in reading the comics was floored by that reveal, she had a feeling he was either Wandas, or Agathas. But i just love that people that don't have this immense back knowledge of character can actually be surprised by these things.
I am also this person lol…..I audibly gasped, physically clapped and said “now that’s how it’s done.” Pure joy was brought to my heart. I’m just getting into the comics though and this has made me pumped!

this was my wife too - obviously as a comic nerd it was clear to me this was Wiccan even before the show started (unless they were doing a Ralf Bohner rug pull but I didn't think they'd do that again after the reception last time), but she had no idea, she doesn't even know who Wiccan is. For a while she believed he was Nick, but then when the crown appeared she was like "Oh my god he's Wanda's son *shocked pikachu face*" and it made me very happy that they nailed a reveal that was satisfying to comic readers and casuals alike.

It was “Alice! Don’t save Agatha!” It was one sentence broken in 2 visions.
I find it ironic that immediately after Alice fulfills her mother’s plan to remove the curse from her bloodline she dies. It feels like it reinforces my initial theory that the road will help resolve personal issues for each witch then immediately kill them. That being said I do think they will comeback at the end or Agatha will make a sacrifice and bring the dead ones back. I do think she will be redeemed somewhat eventually considering how heroic her comic version is
I don't think she'll end a full on hero but an anti hero. Maybe if she can use her power to kill bad witches and increase her power she would see it as a success. Plus I do see her coven returning
As far as I'm aware she doesn't have any kids either. So in the end the curse did effectively end up wiping out that bloodline.

My current theory is that at the end of the road the surviving witches can chose power or to bring their coven members back. When Agatha walked the road the first time she obviously chose power. So if she'd chose the life of her fellow coven members this time, that would show real growth.
I think the CGI and practical set serves two purposes obviously the budgetary, but definetly it is a goal to make it campy. IMO It does feel like great callbacks to older witch media like charmed and hocus pocus and sometimes even gives me a light buffy vibe.

there's some crazy potential for speed. in young avengers vol 2 it's stated that he can warp time and space and that's why he's so fast. in the young avengers infinity comic it's hinted that he can do so much more than knows.

This show has me so hopeful for stuff like Daredevil born again. Hope they keep this quality up

Alice Gulliver was a comics character whose mother was a guardian of Hong Kong and whose father was a police detective, and she herself became a magical detective.
Yeah, all the witches in this show are from the comics. Except Rio Vidal, or rather she goes by another name in the comics.
I rewatched episode 2 and noticed Billy definitely moved closer when Agatha told Lilia about how her power works. Really puts his choice to not blast her with magic into perspective 😂

Agatha All Along Did the DAMN thing this past ep. I’ve been loving this show.
When her mom said she should have killed her as soon as she came out it was so chilling. Either Agatha is terribly evil .. or her mother is.
It seems to me like when she discovered Agatha’s ability of stealing power she became convinced she could only be evil. So instead of teaching her how to control her ability she just wanted to kill her.
It's pretty clearly a gay-analogy. I assume her mom wanted to kill her for her relationship with Rio. Not literally because she is gay, but you know, because of who Rio really is.
I'm not even sure if Agatha knew that she could absorb other witches powers before her mother tried to kill her.

She's only a she arbitrarily in the story, and would just be a non-gendered conceptual being. I think Agatha's mom just killed Agatha because her powers were kind of antithetical to witches, like someone being born on Krypton made of Kryptonite.
@@timoguli mean while rio is death and death is a conceptual being that has no gender, death almost always appears as female (i think she only appeared as male ONCE) so the allegory would still work. there’s lots of queer subtext in this show and with the way rio reacted after evanora said that kind of solidified it for me that “you were born evil” = “you were born queer”

While the Marvel Death is often personified as female (typically as a love interest for a male character), that's hardly a universal interpretation, nor one that someone in universe would jump to if they hadn't personally met the personification themselves. If they tried to make it a queer allegory, it would be a _very_ clumsy one that I think would diminish the work as a whole. I mean, Agatha can be queer, and perhaps she got caught "cavorting" with a girl in her past and that was part of her rejection, but that shouldn't be directly linked to her relationship with Death.

Alice aka “The Wu” is pretty badass in the comics as a Hong Kong Police Detective who augments her guns and knives with witchcraft. She has a knife that can open portals to other places / dimensions.
She teamed up with Scarlet Witch several times and was always kinda’ the muscle. So, casting her as the protection witch makes sense.
With regard to Agatha killing witches, I think we may find that she has no control of draining the power of others at all. Wanda was the only one who only fired bursts at her instead of streams they couldn’t seem to shut off.
I also think Rio sicced the Salem Seven on Agatha (and left the gate open) to feed her power.
Lilia’s walking the road to fix her divination so that her premonitions can actually help her avoid things, rather than speaking the warnings early and being unable to say them in the moment.
I think Agatha’s final wish at the end of the road will be to bring the coven back, rather than her powers. Thus, “Agatha All Along” was not evil, just a victim to her powers and the trauma that came from them.. but she always wanted love.

Obviously when Agatha walked the road the first time she chose power. If this time she choses life for her friends, that will show character growth. It's great narratively.

Nando- Agatha feels more clearly coded as a self destructive addict. Seeing the bad things she’s done is less important to me than how people perceive her & her attitude in response. The subtext says her mom hated her queerness & left to her own devices she resorted to dark magic as both a coping mechanism & to feel good. She seems to lean in to being the bad guy as a defense mechanism because of the way people treat her. Why else would we see moments of her acting remorseful in private?

This show, Wandavision,(early season) and Loki have been the best marvel shows in my opinion
Agatha also kind of gets corrupted by the power and absorbing it. Just like in the flashback, she kinda seems to turn while/after absorbing the power. And in that sense, it also kind of reminds me of Rogue in some way, as it kind of seems like an accident and even Agatha herself does not seem to be able to stop it (as of yet maybe?).
Also, if absorbing the power in itself corrupts Agatha, maybe it is a metaphor for how power can be corrupting and addictive.
I have a lot of sympathy for Agatha. She is misunderstood and uses her "evil" as a shield. That is why she changed in front of Wiccan.
This is why the reveal wasn't later in the series.
If they waited to the end, we would have waited until "probably never" to learn about implications like "did he know" and "what does he want with Agatha". It would have been every post credits Marvel scene ever.
We would have been asking, "that's cool, but when does this pay off?"
I think the fact that they're tying it all into one show, and putting it early, shows that (hopefully) Marvel is learning.
The hierarchy of power in Agatha All Along is going to change forever
I think Billy messing with the Hex on Agnes is why she saw Wanda in the first place, his intrusion probably kicked off the switch in her curse to make it a detective drama too. Rio may even have tried to get Agatha's attention before, but she didn't recognize her until Billy started trying to break her out.
Nah, the curse was breaking down because Wanda had just died (this show was delayed a bunch). Agatha sensed Wanda's death and constructed a crime drama around it. The body of the woman in the woods is Wanda. That's also why she asks "is she most sincerely dead?".
@@4203105 The body in the woods isn't real, that crime scene is her neighbor's front lawn. She imagined that whole thing because of the Hex on her, if you pay attention to the timeline of the show, and when MoM was supposedly taking place, Wanda has been dead for a while and Agatha still wasn't free.
This show is awesome! I know many are hyped about Billy..and that was great! However, I am absolutely interested in Agatha; Agatha and Rio’s story!! I love the entire coven!!
The scene with Agatha's mother much more gave me the impression that we're meant to be seeing the kind of person whose parenting and cruelty created the cruelty & violence we see in Agatha, rather than us take her at her word. There's also some heavy queer allegory there, how Agatha just wants to understand why, how, her mother could hate her so deeply, while to her mother, she's not even a person, but rather an evil thing she should have killed as an infant. The hate she's spewing, contrasted against Agatha & Rio's expressions, paints a pretty clear picture of who here lacks depth & dimensionality to their emotions
My theory/read on the whole "born evil" thing is that Agatha is a mutant in this interpretation. Like a Rogue-style mutant ability to unwillingly absorb magical power from others.
We've already got a mutant x witches thing going on with Wanda and Billy (and Monica), so this could be further laying the groundwork for that. It also fits into the 1607 / in-universe british thing of calling mutants "witchbreed", so maybe they're leaning into that
Comic Billy started going by Wiccan well before he figured out that he was Wanda's kid. He decided that going by Wiccan was a more accurate description of who he was and he was against the other kids' suggestion of Warlock because he said Warlock had oathbreaker connotations.
Did he? That's really cool. I always have to tell people that witch is a gender neutral word, warlocks are not male witches 😑.
Also, because the writer realized that having a gay character whose name sounded so close to "ass guardian" was a bad idea after someone pointed it out to him, which was then also referenced in-universe.

@@openjoistt I don't remember that, but I will admit that it has been a long time since I read Young Avengers. I do however remember clearly that someone suggested Warlock and he turned it down for the reason I mentioned above.
Techincally Agatha failed her test.
Billy stated the rules were:
1) No mocking the dead - Agatha mocks Sharon
2) No Talking over each other - Whole party does this
3) Don't ask about death - Somebody asked what death wanted
The goal was apparently for Agatha to comfront her dead son, whose seems to be at least 3-4 years old based on the voice.
Evenora appearing was also not part of Agatha's trial but a result of the moon being in that state. So somebody wants Agatha isolated from everone else and off the WItches Road.
I'm guessing Rio is the real villian of the road since she was also not present when WIccan reveals himself.

16:27 this series is a great example of media that HAS to be presented in a limited series form. The structure of the episodes each having their unique version of the same kind of scenario makes sense for episodic media. Most of these streaming shows are just slightly longer movies cut up, which isn’t really the point of television.

In fact I don't want them to stop we don't need useless characters, Alice had her little curse and generational trama thingy she dealt with it and ended it, drying doesn't have the same effect as someone who still got business in life.
“You were born evil” = “You were born queer”. That’s why Rio reacted the way she did.
Well all these witches have had to deal with generations seeing them as being evil or just lesser by birth for things they couldn't control.

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if Agatha ultimately sacrifices her life to save Billy, and help him find Tommy.
And considering that Agatha continued to play a role as a spirit before being resurrected, I’m certain that even if she dies, we won’t have seen the last of her.
And with the Fantastic Four movie coming out, I certainly expect her to make an appearance at some point to look after Franklin. Which would be a perfect bookend for her character growth. I mean, she’s famously the go-to nanny for super-powered children in the comics.
That needle drop though, genuinely hits.
I honestly think the best thing they've done with this show is keeping Jac Schaeffer on to run it after she worked on WandaVision. It flows better as a follow up to that show than Multiverse of Madness did (which just un-did any character growth for Wanda at the end of that show to flip a bad switch and need to kinda re-learn the same lesson but worse). With it being considered the second part of a three part series (WandaVision, Agatha All Along and the Vision show) I hope the third show for Vision is of equal quality and ties all three parts together nicely.

This, combined with the knowledge that her attackers will ultimately end up dead, adds a layer of malice to her character.
I don’t think any of them are actually dead. Once Agatha gets to the end of the road, her true wish is going to be to bring them all back. She’ll choose her friends over herself, completing her redemption arch. Right?

Have you never seen a plot where the villainous, selfish character bonds with others, then in the end chooses them over her own initial selfish goals? It’s a pretty standard character arch. I mean, they literally did it with Loki. This show is about loners coming together, who their only true power is relying on themselves, learning to trust others and the value of friendship and family, a.k.a. a coven. What would make much less sense, is we get to the end of the show and the entire coven is destroyed and Agatha doesn’t learn any lesson, and has no one left.

🖐No it isn't, chaos magic has nothing to do with the Infinity Stones.
Besidez chaos magic already has a color which is scarlet hence the prophecy of the Scarlet Witch in the Darkhold.
Agatha is a witch and in witch craft purple has a complete different meaning than the Infinity Stones.

This may be a wild one, buuut..
Anyone else think that the "W. Maximoff" in the library logs was for "William (Billy) Maximoff", and not Wanda? Kinda seems like he could have got the Darkhold, learned the magic he needed, burned the copies, and then placed the sigil on himself. Then setting up this whole journey, pretending to tag along, and boom, episode 5 reveal.
Billy's journey, Billy's prize.
I feel like he's going to try to undo something/everything that's gone wrong, and bring back his family, maybe also undo some other stuff in the general MCU (maybe on a meta level), leading to some kind of turning point, both "in universe" and real world.
But could also be a wild theory that ends up being nothing too, who knows. But i can't wait to find out

It's not impossible, but also right before W. Maximoff there was A. Harkness on the library card. We know that right after Agatha, Wanda had custody of the Darkhold. So it's probably not Billy. And she destroyed all versions of the book across the multiverse, so there's that.

I think Billy Maximoff's soul replaced or wrote over another kid's when Wanda died at the end of Multiverse of Madness, which also ties into the joke in this episode that Ouija is for kids ages 3 & up. Billy has only existed for 3 years, even counting the events at Westview.

I think Wandavision is at least partially why they dropped the reveal this early. I was expecting it closer to episode six or seven myself. The problem with dropping it in the penultimate episode, especially if people kind of know what's coming, is you've got a whole season building to a reveal that ultimately doesn't have as big of an impact as you'd like while also then having to rush through the finale. Even though this is the first Marvel TV series that has felt like a TV series It still seemed to fall into a three act structure in my mind. The first three episode were all set up. The first set up the current status quo. The second gave us the mission and the formation of the coven. The third set up the basic structure of the trials. Then we head into act two where things ramp up which they very much did in four and five. I did kind of expect the reveal at the end of six when everything gets turned on its head then the last three resolve everything. I still think that'll be the case. I imagine they did the reveal here so that, like Wandavision, they can do a flashback episode showing everything "Teen" did leading up to the start of the series. That's my best guess anyway.

the thing with agatha being a killer is that she killed someone who was protecting and defending her, not enemies; alice may not have been a friend but there was *supposed* to be a bond between them and agatha indicated that she intentionally finished alice off. I kind of believe the entire setup was a trick and not really a trial at all
There is also a version where he put the sigil on himself and then forgot why he did it. Agatha said that how sigils work.
The road gives you what you’re missing/need the most. I think obviously for Agatha its not powers but her son. Even In wandavision when Agatha killed a dog, kids asked Wanda to “fix the death” and they specifically showed Agatha being very intrigued and saying “ you can do that?” (Ep5) Later through fake brother she tried to find out how Wanda uses her powers. It’s interesting how we never saw ghost of Nicolas just voice. Not saying Agatha will actually get her son in normal form as happy end. Gonna be something evil mephisto related.
For some reason i thought of mixing Wanda’s son and Agatha’s son because i think this version of Billy was created/materialised by Wanda right before her death, after she took all of Agatha’s powers and used darkhold, and i think Nicolas’s soul is kind of trapped and its related to darkhold. Tommy doesn’t work as much coz he isnt witchy. But I think that’s what Billy is after? Either it’s“reuniting with his family” or him finding Tommy. Tho I wonder if Agatha seeing in first ep Teen’s fingers as black like after using darkhold was foreshadowing, or her feeling he was connected to Wanda who used darkhold, or just random reminder of darkhold/magic
I can get behind killing Alice as not being entirely under Agatha’s control, but I doubt that it has always been out of her control for the entirety of the past 400 years. I do think that she’s on a path towards real redemption, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen in this show soecifically
True but it could also be a horrible consequence of using the Darkhold. I wouldn’t be surprised that the Darkhold would make the power taking ability uncontrollable especially even for a witch that would live for a long time. The Darkhold is that twisted, to make a being that lives for a long time to that should normally have control over their powers, not be able to control their powers.😂

I was genuinely expecting the whole “Is He Wanda’s Boy?” to be a red herring, because I did not want to get my hopes up only to be let down after, but this ep sure proved me wrong and I don’t mind it! 😅 I think Ep6 could be a flashback ep to further detail Billy’s background.
I definitely have a feeling that Billy cast the sigil on himself. In episode 4 after he's revived, we get some very specific lore about sigils from Agatha. Namely, they work on the witch who cast them (Agatha says she wouldn't know if she was the one who cast the sigil, so Billy could conceivably have cast the sigil on himself and may have no idea he'd done it). We're meant to think that this means there's a chance that Agatha cast the spell herself, she says as much, but what if it's actually hinting that Billy cast the spell?
We also learn that sigils are removed when they're no longer needed, so something happened to trigger the removal. Perhaps Billy purposely cast the sigil because he knew if Agatha thought there was some hope he was Nick, she would take him along. Then, once he said Nick's name aloud and they all heard, Agatha would know there was no longer any hope, the glamour would no longer be effective and would drop.
After Agatha did the Mrs. Hart fake-out, it was ALICE who reminded them that there was a deadline to complete the trial, saying "The clock is ticking." It feels like foreshadowing, in retrospect.
honestly i thought billy was intentionally using his powers when he did and that he was more in charge than we realized, but the breakdown channels are all saying his powers came out on their own or something/he wasn’t in control (and tbh this interpretation makes more sense…). but either way, very cool ending and happy that this is only episode 5.
I don't think he knew about the his powers. The title of this episode is Darkest hour, wake thy power. I think Alice's death was the trigger for Teen.
It's unclear. I think it's possible that he put the sigil on himself, honestly forgot why he was there and when it broke, got his memories back and acted accordingly. But there are other interpretations.
Love seeing someone else looking more closely at the fact that we know a lot about Agatha’s *reputation* but we don’t have a lot of hard facts about her actual past. I am convinced that she isn’t nearly as terrible as everyone thinks she is, and she really can’t control her power-sucking ability. I’m so sure we’re going to find out she lost her son through some oversight getting in over her head, or she killed him by accident because he was a little witch too and hit her with his power. I’m just so ready to be shown she’s a tragedy full of bravado that couldn’t stomach the thought of everyone thinking that’s all she was.
My question while watching this unfold is......... are we ever going to get a scene where Aubrey Plaza and Ryan Reynolds are on screen together?... and will we see her officially take away his ability to die like it was in the comics? You could do a twist where she does it for more 'platonic friends'-type stuff since MCU Deadpool has Vanessa... but if anyone could pull that off it'd be Aubrey Plaza. She just hears about Deadpool existing with this healing factor that keeps him in a semi-tortured limbo state of immortality... and thinks it's hilarious. She just tells him it's more permanent than he imagined.
Maybe she shows up right after Thor gets done holding him and crying..... idk. who knows. I just wanna see it. If we've got Deadpool and we're pretty sure we've got Lady Death then why not. Make it happen, Kevin
I don’t think her power is as strong and cosmic as it was in the comics, because we have seen a lot of things that seems to be out of her control in this series. Also the real question is will we see her and starlord together on screen ?

I agree a lot with the episode length comment. I really enjoy the fact that rather than cutting content or cramming in irrelevant stuff to get the show to *exactly* 42 minutes, the episode runs the length of time that portion of the story dictates. It allows the story to be told far better.
Yeah, when I saw this episode was so short I felt really annoyed until I actually watched it and I realised it was perfect just the way it was and the music choice at the end was just perfect.
The idea that he might have been working with Rio makes sense when you consider that she may be death. Because if he was reincarnated… Let alone reincarnated into a teenager who had a “near death accident” in East View, as we see in the news article that is under joe’s name in the intro… maybe Rio showed up then… and since she had always been looking for Agatha, maybe they teamed up to some degree. Even if not like fully as comrades lol.
Because Rio was also the only one who wasn’t around the end… People are saying she was collecting Alice’s body, which is possible, but she is also the green witch so maybe she was manipulating the earth and it was her and teen’s plan to throw them into the mud like that.
There’s even a part of me that thinks now that he remembered he is Wiccan, that maybe he is just gonna kill the seven quick lol so he wanted to get rid of them to keep them safe.

This show has rekindled my adoration for the MCU. We had a lot of duds lately.. so far this one is pure gold. It had won me over with the song to open the witch's road. That is the kind of thing I see when I read Tolkien and the songs he adds in throughout the stories. It felt exactly on that level in relevance and importance and I love it.

I believe the flashback into the Hydra base, where Wanda first witnessed the Scarlet Witch in a premonition…
She knows of the Scarlet Witch, and she knows that is her destiny.
Her “fortune teller“ costume is simply a gag, and that’s not exactly what her costume is of. Notice that Quicksilver is wearing his comics costume, along with everyone else. Very meta.
I like the more updated outfits, and I like that Billy is reminiscent of Wanda, who was her Scarlet Witch look off of a cosmic vision.
I knew Alice was going to die in this episode because she was getting too much attention lmao. I mean, I know she is the protection witch but the show did not fail to subtly highlight her character in this episode. She legit tries to save a lot of people in this one - and even in the previous one - and therefore when Agatha finally needed saving, she jumped to help her as an instinct. Her being so helpful and nice and likeable for the entire show and specially in this episode made it clear to me that she would end up dead.

I think Agatha has killed every witch that has ever attacked her, but because of her "born evil" thing. I think that she's a mutant and her magic doesn't work properly. Or, her father is Mephisto.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but TEEN and the person they found by the creek look alike. They both have on similar hoodie, pants, and their fingers are both black.
Wiccan have a statue in the Scarlet Witch temple in Multiverse of Madness (in her right side) a lot of people didn't noticed So I think he is in the Scarlet witch prophecy probably Billy is not gonna be the demiurge in the MCU but another being of chaos.
Wiccan got his headband this episode even if it was just a sweatband.
My theory iso that I think that Agatha failed her trial as that so far was the only one that ended up going upstairs. The biggest question I have is if the next episode will be the flashback episode or it will be Lilias trial. From the trailers I can't tell if Teen is in those scenes. I spotted only 3 in Lilias trial.
Also It seems like Teen is building to be the leader of the this newly formed Coven as it states in the song Coven true. I just hope in the end that Wiccan saves the Salem 7 and the new coven.
I don’t think Rio is Death. I think she’s Blackheart. She said her heart is black in the first episode. When her name was listed in the list of names of people to approach for the coven, Agatha said the name she didn’t want to approach was just written as a heart colored in black. And in the 70’s episode, she said when you do the summon spell sometimes people are pulled down and in her case pulled up.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s the child of Mephisto. Which is why she never seems scared. Blackheart would be too powerful to be killed in the Witches Road, which is why she always seems like she’s just having fun.
Apparently the comics version’s powers are magical in nature too and he can also appear human. I don’t see why they couldn’t make him female for the show either. I hope Aubrey Plaza is Blackheart and there’s a cool transformation at some point.

I think what happened was when Billy used the Ouija board by himself he took his hand off when yelled out Nicholas scratch so maybe NS ghost or demon went into Billie’s body and when he did he found out Billie’s power. Then when Agatha taunts him NS snaps and uses Billie’s powers to get revenge against Agatha that why he attacks the other two.
Agatha seems like she’s a ‘magic addict.’ She doesn’t want to do the things that get people hurt but that impulse or addiction takes over.
I understand the hypothesis that Agatha is unable to control her power-absorption ability, and I tend to agree, but I'm not sure if that's a metaphysical limitation or a psychological one. Either way, if you're facing life-or-death challenges with her, I'm not sure you'd be able to treat her with grace after Alice's death. We aren't meant to console the scorpion who kills the frog, we're meant to avoid ferrying the next scorpion across the river.

The analogy of the scorpion and the frog is often used to illustrate the idea that some behaviors are inherent and unchangeable. Comparing this to the idea of a “good Nazi” highlights the contradiction in trying to reconcile fundamentally harmful actions with goodness.
👨⚖Similarly, a witch who uses dark magic & causes harm cannot be considered good. It’s important to recognize and address harmful behaviors to prevent further damage.

We are not sure but she really has high possibility of doing so, Wanda has chaos magic yet once she took the darkhold she just became the strongest shit there is.
I'm guessing it doesn't work on other kinds of magic. The Marvel universe has like 27 different magic systems as a natural consequence of how comics work, and the best way to resolve that is to just keep them separate and not really acknowledge how they interact with each other.
Basically what I'm saying is that witch magic, Thor magic, Doctor Strange magic etc. are all completely different things that work differently and do different stuff.

I think its possible Billy wanted on the road, knew he couldn't get there himself, and couldn't lie to Agatha outright, so he sealed himself so even he didn't know who he is or why he was there until she figured it out and broke the seal.
I thought we were only getting 6 episodes; glad there are more.
