What's funny is canonically Timmy's Dad was obsessed with Timmy, to the point that Timmy's Dad and Mom were neglecting their relationship. It wasn't until Timmy got them to hire Vicky that they stopped caring about him. Edit: Timmy's Dad loved Timmy and always spent time with him, recording his "firsts" etc
this is adorable!! does anyone have any clips or episodes that show this? I need to see a positive wacky father figure with his devil child, for I never got one
9:43 This has to be the pettiest thing Vicky has done. Most of the time she causes misery for her own personal gain or to save her own behind. She just did that shit just because. Can’t let Timmy be happy for ONE SECOND. And the iconic line “I must be losing my touch” was so raw.
1:19 I can absolutely see them getting sucked into a video game and just, no one ever telling Cosmo, so someone starts talking about "press the A button to grab it" and he's the only one who's confused
8:12 - 8:40 The "outgrabe" and stuff is a reference to "Jabberwocky", a nonsense poem in _Through the Looking-Glass_ (1871), the sequel to _Alice's Adventures in Wonderland_ (1865). I was just looking it up yesterday because I remembered the word _vorpal._ Regarding the line "I'm positively mimsy with outgrabe": In the story, Humpty Dumpty explains that the adjective _mimsy_ means "flimsy and miserable", and the verb _outgribing_ is "something between bellowing and whistling, with a kind of sneeze in the middle"; coined from Old English _grike_ or _shrike._ So the jester is pretty much just babbling "I'm flimsy and miserable with shrieked" Regarding the line "you whiffled my wabe": This comes from the lines "Came whiffling through the tulgey wood" and "Did gyre and gimble in the wabe". The actual verb _whiffle_ means in this sense "to travel quickly with an accompanying wind-like sound"; but the nonsense noun _wabe,_ a shortening _way behind,_ means "the grass plot around a sundial" (per _Looking-Glass_ (1871)) or "the side of a hill soaked by rain" (per an 1855 issue of Lewis Carroll's periodical, _Mischmasch_ (1855-1862)).
Yes, the vorpal sword of D&D (and lots of other games) comes straight from Jabberwocky! It sounds like the video game replaced "outrage" with "outgrabe", ignoring the meaning Lewis Carroll provided. Like you said, outgrabe is a past tense verb. He also said outgribing is difficult to imagine, but if you happen to hear it you shall be quite satisfied. Wabe indeed refers to the plot of grass around a sundial, so named because it extends both a long way behind and a long way before the dial. (Alice commented that it also extends a long way beside, but Humpty Dumpty ignored her, implying that Alice's explanation was a folk etymology unworthy of attention from a serious scholar.)

Something I loved from when I did an LP of this game is the progression in the villain's plot - you get the idea that he's trying to do a spell, but doesn't know how, and gets closer and closer each time. His ultimate plan is "Make a TV show where shadows rule and then turn it into reality." His first attempt experimenting with the channels is a total failure, he just traps Timmy's dad in a dream related to what he was watching. His second attempt is closer, but backwards, shifting Timmy's mom into a nature documentary. Then finally he gets it right, turning the world into the space epic that Vicky's watching, so right spell, wrong channel. Then you stop him just as he's about to do the thing he was planning on. It gives the levels a coherent theme as the game progresses.

That blues clues joke you did was perfect XD
26:05 reference for myself for the bit that made me laugh so suddenly and violently i erupted into a coughing fit
26:33
Sounds just like Chase as the devil I swear
The fuckin "SoS" at 8:39 absolutely SLAYED me
penny I just want to say you always make life so much better. This video especially made me smile the whole time, seeing a Chad Warden joke here in the year of our lord 2022 made me ecstatic you have no fucking idea. I had a really shitty day at my minimum wage customer service job, but coming home and watching this brought me the exact dosage of stupid I needed to get back to my usual self.
In a way it’s weirdly emotional. Thank you for all that you do, you’ll never be able to see just how much it helps others.
19:07 The only reference I understood throughout penny Parker’s entire career
1:19 that made me laugh WAY harder than it had any right to lmfao
"They don't do anything, but they're fun to collect!"
Just like the collectibles in Sonic '06
"Cosmo? Wanda? I wish Rooster Teeth was gone"
this video is my comfort video tbh. i love the line "I'm such a big fan of weaponry"
the ability to do the voice of any character on the show actually outstands me oh my GOD you are pitch perfect
13:40 this is how you know i’m enjoying a game *head trauma*
*BONK*
Honestly I'm glad this game is as good as it is, it's a massive improvement over Breaking Da Rules. Honestly I may have to track down a copy in the future and see where this rabbit hole takes me.
“The Fairy monarchy banned boning because of marital issues and thus caused a permanent halt on the increase/decrease of Fairy population” is honestly not a take I was expecting from this game but that’s on me. I think
16:36 I can't believe I forgot that the Crimson Chin is based out of some (even more) cursed AU Ohio.
2:15 I lost it at this part 😂😂 I can’t! I can’t stop replaying it.
I love her impressions so much
Woah, this looks SO much better right off the bat. You weren't kidding. So much more visual quality, audio quality, and charm.
“these bits are so good, i think ill hear them…a SECOND time” *ptoo*
36:03
The rant about bananas 🍌 is so true and objectively correct. They are so GOOD
I swear I remember the game ending with Timmy never being able to ever watch the Crash Nebula finale ever again
Bad Ending
7:43 yo nice psychicpebbles impression lmao
pennys voice acting is top notch xD
Wanda saying kid named finger killed me
