Hi Kevin, thank you. The boat is a Goat Island Skiff designed by Michael Storer, for DIY builders. Here is the website, in case you are interested: www.storerboatplans.com/boatplans/goat-island-skiff-simple-sailing-boat-excellent-performance-lightweight/
Another fabulous video and a trip to inspire many sailors. Sailing a boat calls for quick action, a blending of feeling with the wind and water as well as with the very heart and soul of your fantastic boat. You have it all, keep up the good work, my friend.
Hi DelTheTope, I'm very pleased for such a comment! Thank you. Now that the season is finished I keep on sailing with my mind by editing videos.. Yes, it sounds melancholy..:-)
No particular restrictions or regulations. Consider the good wind blows almost only during the good season (summertime), the rest is often dead calm. During summer, it is also possible to find short (few hours) but very strong wind (30kn and more). In that case, you'll need to be out of the water: be ready with a B plan, in case! Thank you for watching.
Fantastic video, Enrico! Great boat! Thanks for sharing! Are there any legal requirements for sailing in lake Como, e.g. licensing, insurance, type and size of boat, etc.? Thanks.
Hi Tilev, thank you for watching! No special requirements for sailing dinghies, just having the safety equipment on board which means life jackets and nothing else. If you sail boats longer then 10m you will need the sailing licence (and more safety stuff). If you have a motor on board then it is requested to have an insurance.
Marcus, you are right. This is not the more convenient area for wind-sports, as the wind is usually low. For kitesurfing and sailing best is the north part of the lake, in front of the towns of Dervio, Domaso or Colico
Awesome. I enjoy watching your videos. Well done
Hi Don, thank you for watching! I will try to edit and post more.
Lovely boat. Nicely sailed. :)

I dream of sailing lake como. Do you find it favorable for sailing between towns or are there many restrictions?

Oh man, absolute dream to do this.
Hi jonathan, there's no difference between my boat and your guitar: it's always good wood that magically vibrates! Thanks for the visit.

Очень красиво👍👍👍
Hi Georg, thanks for watching!
I noticed the absence of kiteboarders or any other boats for that matter?

Fantastic. How do you sleep on the boat. Is it cold at night.
I've just used a nylon sheet put over the boom (kind of simple boom tent). The weather forecast were good and not cold at all in the night.
very nice man
Thanks Tola.
VERY NICE
Thanks Emuel. I am slowly learning the difficult art of video editing.. so I appreciate when someone likes a video! ;-)
