How hard was it to separate the idler wheel from the two arms that bolt to the machine? I have an idler from a Kubota KX91-3 that I can't separate after driving out the roll pinon one side. Did you use a press, puller, or is there some other technique for splitting it open?
Im sorry for the late reply, tbh i used a thin cutting disc on a 9" grinder down the side of the idler to split the pin so i could tackle 1 side at a time , I managed to knock 1 side out but the other i had to take it to a press
