Watching Alejandro is when you realise Sicario was never about the female 'MC'. The majority of the film was just shot from her perspective to keep the audience in the dark.
Kind of wonder if they forced Alejandro to watch his family die.If he was,how he was able to maintain any sense of sanity is incredible,I can only imagine that witnessing something like that first hand would fracture almost anyone.
