fermi energy is define at 0 k.but u r showing here for non zero temperature.how?
at 0 k, there will not be any free e lectron .
The situation he is explaining is at 0 K.
The nearly free electrons are filled up to fermi energy. Point to keep in mind is that at 0 K these nearly free electron are also freezed.
