Bro.. a language learning is continuous process... Its not a topic/syllabus like history, science. (which require an adequate time period to learn and understand) It(English learning) is a process which require no(uncertain) time limit that depends upon person to person ability of learning. So, we have to train our brain to think as well as to speak fluently by PRACTICING , LISTENING and READING simple English content in initial stage. Specially we have to be habitual in English ( For example- try to introduce yourself daily with 4-5 lines and after some days you will have excellent confidence to introduce yourself) and try variation in topic.
First step- basic English grammar like subject, object, nouns pronouns, verb adverbs etc also preposition ,adjective
2nd step- basic tenses structure and TRANSLATION between English and your mother language.
    That's enough.
After that perfect practice make you best. Best of luck.

I would give him a maximum of 7.5. The way he pronounces words like 'that, it, but, out, etc.' can certainly improve. He needs to try a lot to avoid similar structures, for example, if-clause. He can also avoid the frequent usage of 'I would say'. Instead, he can try various connectives and discourse markers more appropriately. More importantly, he has to do something to overcome his hesitation although it is mostly content related if he is to score band 8 or above. There is some visible effort at times. He has used some idiomatic expressions, which can help. Grammatically, he does not make any serious errors. However, he can try to speak some more complex sentences, or atleast avoid the frequent usage of similar simple sentences. His vocabulary too shall improve, I mean, he can use less common words more often, but only if he is sure about its choice and collocation. Good effort...

@@demonhunter7850 As a matter of fact, it is very strict these days. Being an IELTS trainer, I am aware of it. This young man would have got band 8 if he had attended the test a decade ago. However, he can score even more if he makes a few improvements.

Idk about being a trainer and how you evaluate it, the contemporary speaking tests are not as intricate as you're claiming it to be. I doubt even native speakers speak half as good as this fellow just did. I'm not speaking this to offend you or anything, and my information is purely individualistic and falsifiable.

Hi Aswathy- The requirement for writing both the tests and the use of these test results are different.
For instance if you are looking for studying abroad like the UK, Canada, the USA etc. then you need to appear for the Academic IELTS.
But for job application and migration, General training IELTS is required.
But if you are a nurse planning to work abroad, then you need the Academic IELTS.
