- The sensitive plant (Mimosa pudica) is great fun to grow!
This amazing plant has leaves that fold together as soon as they are touched. If their foliage is touched a second time, the plant's branches quickly droop downwards as a mechanism to deter herbivores! They also produce stunning, pink, pom-pom flowers!
Sensitive plants are fast growing and easy cultivate, and make a perfect addition to windowsills at home or in schools!

Good jod
In our place we called it huya-huya meaning shy plant
How does it fold its leaves
It is also called "Makahiya" here here in Philippines
Your a legend!!!
Why?
Shreyas Joshi this guy has traveled to different countries finding new species of the rare nepenthes. He has made a difference in the nepenthes world. LEGEND!
we call this plant in the Philippines "Makahiya" a Tagalog/Filipino term for "Shy" which attributes to its leaves closing when touched and we consider these plants as weeds
Would the same apply for the Biophytum sensitivum as well?
this plant is growing a lot in my neighborhood
Mimosa pudica is annoying plant ever
They’re an invasive weed around here in the southeast us so just throwing some on the ground works where I am lol
