They tour with a crew of 250 plus they use local riggers to set up the stage. It’s a serious operation. I used to work for Formula One Management and it was the only gig that is similar (that I know of) The kit was transported around the world on three cargo Jumbo jets or, in Europe, on 20 HGVs plus loads of vans and ancillary vehicles. There were three teams of riggers - one at the track, one at the next track and one resting. I was a TV engineer and there were 300 of us in total including production crew, drivers, catering, riggers, security etc etc.
I want to tell you about the first time I brought my now ex wife to a Rammstein concert for her first time.
I am really no heavy metal fan, but I am a Rammstein fan and has been since I heard their music for the first time many years ago, and since I understand German very well, even if I am not German, I understood their lyrics very well and also their double and triple meanings.
She was not all that sure about going to this concert, but she did anyway and not long into that concert she totally lost it and she had almost an euphoric and almost religious experience in that concert because of the music, singing, show and extreme positive energy among all the people there.
From that day she has been a huge Rammstein fan even if she doesn't understand any German at all.
I have never experienced or seen any aggression or negative vibes from anyone at these concerts.
Only extreme positive energy where the only form of "aggression" is a positive aggression where people are only extremely pumped and happy.
These guys have perfected the concert experience and most if not all artists have a lot to learn from them.
I have been to many concerts done by many different artists of all sorts of genres over many years and many of them have been and/or are the biggest names in the industry, and I have also been a security guard/bouncer in many, but absolutely no one gets close to the experience of going to a Rammstein concert.
I highly recommend going to a Rammstein concert at least once, even if you are not a fan of the music genre.
Flew all the way from Seattle to Copenhagen to see these guys tomorrow!! Keep going down this rabbit hole, there's so much more to discover!

I discovered Rammstein through the movie Lost Hightway. It is such a wonderful band. A great mixture of attitude, art and fantastic musicianship. So much good stuff hidden in there.
I’m not sure if the cost, but one thing that I know from reading and hearing from people is that a lot of the cost from shows centers around the cost of stage, lighting, sound rentals etc…I’m not sure if this is 100% true or not, as I read it on the internet…that said, if you watch a lot of the Rammstein shows, you’ll notice a lot of the same things from prior shows get worked into stage lighting designs for other tours (take the round stage lighting rigs above the stage, look across to the new arena shows…) etc…do they save on long term rental and reuse, or save by owning in a warehouse…something to contemplate, and something I’m still researching myself…just things to think about…great reaction as always…I know I recommended Angst and Zick Zack on your music video reaction for Dicke Titten…if you want a cool live one check out Ramm 4… Thanks again for entertainment on my train rides to and from work
My son dated a German exchange student and she turned us on to this band. They are very different and also very awesome! I really appreciate how unique they are!

I would be really interested in a REACTION to the original music video "Rammstein - Germany" (i.e. not a live performance), as I have often heard that it is possibly the best music video of all time.
It's also a very deep exploration of German history.

This is good! Just wanted you to know that the live version of Engel that they've done on recent tours is completely different from this one, but also pretty cool. You should check it out sometime! Not sure if there is an official video of it yet.
Fact checkers can help, but I'm pretty sure the Moscow show has him suspended in the wings.

In other mind blowing news: My favorite internationally reported classical music story of the year goes to a performance of Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Look it up and be greatly amused like this classically trained singer. Then listen to the piece of music in question.

Gotta get Sabaton in there next. Nightwish's Floor Jansen's husband, Hannes Van Dahl, is the Drummer for them and they primarily write songs based upon historical events so if you're interested in History, they are a must to listen to. My recommendations (in no particular order) would be Christmas Truce, 40-1 Live at Woodstock 2012, Bismarck, 1916 (Motorhead Cover), and En Livstid I Krieg (Live - The Great Tour - Gothenburg). There are plenty of other gems to listen to in addition to these but those are just ones I'd recommend as a must

a week ago, in my country was their first tour concert and they started rehersals a few days before the concert and one surprise rehearsal concert for 2-3 thousand fans one day before the concert. The cheapest ticket i think cost around 75-80 bucks

I enjoy seeing your reactions, Mr. Black Pegasus! :D And I love the way you go into the songs you react to, by digging the lyrics too. Interesting part about Ramstein in this case: You read the lyrics and instantly have a meaning or a purpose in mind. And it's very often like that, it can feel dark and negative but if your look close you suddenly find out they nearly always let the field open for interpretations in other directions too! That's why they often don't comment very definite about a meaning of a song, because they want you, everyone, to interpret it for yourself! And so, it is art! Like you instantly found out with the Ramstein-Songs that you did! :)
For the tour in 2023 the stage itself cost over 6 million dollars and takes four days to assemble.
Rammstein always have something to say, sometimes from an unconventional point of view, for example - that of the villain!
