"Fire burnin" indeed ❤
This song was ahead of it's time, 2023 and still a bang! And shaydee's vocals 🔥
I swear
Definitely agree. Now whose fault is it?
🎉🎉 Shaydee is just something else. So powerful. Where is he.

Endbadgoverment ✊💯
I balance here with you my sista!
Seyi shay has no idea of how big this song was in Africa around the time it dropped, ahead of it’s time ✨
Seyi shay is the best female artist in Nigeria... Period
Who’s here in 2024⁉️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Seyi shay is really an amazing artist. She’s so underrated, this was a banger.🔥
Swears bro
Song still bangs hard
The day this comment was made was 5th of July 2024, and this song is still a bang.
I've always loved this song since my SSS1 days.
I'm Jamaican and I love Patoranking's music! I love the fact that he gravitates to our culture and embrace it enough to add a little bit of our flavour to his music. Big Ups to all African, we are all one no matter if we're not from the continent. Jamaican or Nigerian we are all the same people. Just remember that. Keep doing your thing Patoranking. Respect and One Love!!!
Actually,I listen to bob Marley a whole lot. I think he was more African than me,born and raised !. He talked about facts, that even affect our Africa till today. He is a legend in Africa. He has bob malarkey day, well celebrated in Africa. So,when I see this guy patoranking,I feel him.funny thing, today is my first time clicking on any of his songs, and I have watched 10, he makes a lot of sense, he touches the soul,he brings another vibe to a one sided Nigerian rythme.he changed the game, he has to learn the Jamaican accent before he could bounce out and sing in it. Big ups to him and big ups to you too.fellow African !.
+Orwell Maylor my brother I don't get this people separating us... our vernacular is also so alike....on my first visit to Africa in ' 94 at age 5 from Italy to Benin City in Nigeria I grew up listening to classic dancehall music like Shabba, Diana, Shaggy that my uncle use to play every morning...etc... at the time I thought that those were African songs, and obviously, my parents gave birth to me and grew me on Bob Marley...Living in Italy before then never exposed me too much about black/african culture except from my parents and a movie about Jamaican bobslead team called "Cool Runnings''that I watched religiously for years ,that they used to show every now and then on the italian tv stations.....Long story short until the early 2000 i never knew that Jamaica was an Isle VERY FAR from Africa, I always thought that it was In Africa.I Know I must have been ignorant for more than a decade of my life but...Patois have so many words and expressions that derived from African various pidgins, moreover Rihanna is Bajan, she reps Jamaica must of the time and nobody complains ...cause for SOME ignorant Africans think that all black carribeans are Jamaicans.
CHILD> PICKNEY=PICKIN
BIG EYE=stingy
TO BE> DEY=DEH
ONLY>SOSO=e.g. 'soso wahala'
YOU PEOPLE> UNA=UNU
TO BE ABLE>FIT=HAFFI 'e.g. daddy haffi work,work,work...'
there are so many...Is important we claim ours..
Why only learning french and german... when we also have our, to take back.
John Kennedy Ekene Yeah Mon Bob Marley was passionate about uniting all Africans and getting people of African descent to remember their roots. Patorankin on the other hand is doing a very good job mixing the Jamaican accent and culture into his music. The first song I heard from him was Alubarika and it immediately caught my attention and I just had to put it on repeat until everyone in my house started singing along to it. I hope he continue to put out more masterpiece. Bless Up and One Love.
Stefania Omo You made several great points and I have to say you are definitely right. Imagine what the music industry would be like if we stop separating ourselves and started uniting more. Maybe not just only the music industry but life in general would be better for Africans and the diaspora if we united and work together. Its not up until two years ago when I started going to a black university in America that had a lot of Jamaican and African students that I realised that my language is similar to Pidgin, and it was easy to pick out some of the things they saying when they were talking. I even started greeting them saying "How far" every time I see them because the language sounded so natural. I can see why some people will mistake Jamaica for an African country, which isn't a bad thing if they do because that's our roots. I think they should definitely change the type of history they teach us in the school system because all they teach us is white history and when when stole us from Africa and brought us to the Caribbean. They need to go way back before that and teach us how life was in Africa before the Europeans came and interrupted our history.
Yeah this is so true I'm very very very very blessed to be half Nigerian and Jamaican and they really are similar cultures
Seyi Shay's music was ahead of its time. Such a Gem.
True.
Very true...don't know why she's still underrated.
@@olomuisraelebere4290 aa
aye, I can't believe its 8 years since this vid. wow, this still a bop
If you had to type “she said she wants murda” cause you couldn’t remember the name 2024🎉
I'm not pleased that she's not holding her place in the industry today like Tiwa Savage.
She would have been bigger than Tiwa Savage. I don't know what happened with her.
She even sings better than the Tiwa lady
Exactly!!! She was more than Tiwa, it’s quite unfortunate
They fought. She came for Tiwa
I love Sheyi so much. She's still very much ageless.
One of the few talents from 9ja
I was here in April 2024
Who is here after seyi and tiwa 2021 fight ?! Love them both
We are here oooh hahaha 😂🤭
Even 2022😍
Even 2023 😅
Even 2024 😂😂
I just randomly remembered this song after 7 years😩. It was my jam😍
Me too . Love it till now ❤️
same
Swears 😭
I remembered it after 10 years lol
that Shaydee verse was my shit back then… wonder why wiz didn’t put him on, so talented
RIP Doktar Frabz ,this is one of the hits he produced.
Oh Frabz produced this?
Banger 🔥
The naija scene wasn't ready when this masterpiece dropped😫
Representing 2022🔥🔥🔥🔥 This jam still be lit
That's the problem with us Africans. Here's a great artist bringing us good vibes. Instead of encouraging her and pushing her, we're worried about her singing in her other languages and stuff. It doesn't matter what language she sings in as long as she brings out good music. Stay united instead of ripping each other good Lord!
Take me back in time gaddemit!😩
Simpler times 🥺🥺
When we thought seyi was gonna be the rihanna of Africa. Tems was still unknown… life comes at you fast 😂
i am a GHANAIAN who loves NIGERIANS and almost everything about that country. GREAT piece. cant get enough.
2024 and this jam still on repeat!!🔥🔥🔥
Shey Shey was truly ahead of our time 🤲🏽
I'm Jamaican and I love this. I'm tired of Black people trying to build bridges between each other. Cut that crap out. Shi seh shi waan murda. Big chune.
+Defiant Black Thanks Bro!
My forever best song is ...Africa unite.by bob Marley . What he sang decades ago is exactly what our problem is in 2016. This guy sings in Jamaican accent, and Jamaicans are pure Africans.
Bring a Jamaican to France and bring somebody from Ghana, nigeria etc to the same place.if they stand close to eachother, you will think they are brothers. It is because they have same facial similarities and same posture !. Look at Jamaican girls and look at Kenyans and Nigerians, etc, these girls have same body type, same skin complexion, same faces and same body movements. It shows you how much we are one !.
Yet ,we go around tying to see why/how we are different, trying to argue about stuffs we should know about. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery ... Bob market !
Big ups to you and big ups to the king, bob Marley !.
Yaassss sing king!!!
Will forever come back here for this song ❤❤❤🙌🏾🙌🏾2023
2020 and this song is still my jam😍😍
lol i didn't expect people to be here 2020
Yeeeep
Merci 9gbd
We still here✌️
That makes us
what a classic! this is the afrobeats i need back!
2022 and no female in the country has released a bop that'd touch this master piece. 🔥
I love this song so much , deserves more recognition
2023 now.
I can't help but think how time flies soo fast listening to this big tune. One of my all time Pato and Seyi jams.
After so many years, still here listening to this masterpiece ♥️
mhmm, im here in 2023
me too
Before my ex girlfriend died, I used to love this music so much and it helped me through everything that I went through 🙏🙏🥰😛
There is something about this song that keeps bringing me to youtube to watch it over and over again. Love the chemistry and the sexiness which was so flawless and natural.
Same here.... Fishy. It's a conspiracy by Seyi and patoranking
These early Seyi songs were too good.
Omo this jam is still new in the ear... My favorite then ♥️♥️♥️
The chemistry in a hit just...given.Banger infact!!!
American here and I have absolutely fallen in love with Nigerian music. Seyi shay, Tiwa Savage, Niyola, Yemi Alade among others.
Haha! I see it's the divas that fascinate you more.
Matt Carter
Keep it coming.... we naija divas are here 🤗
You forgot this one amazing person, Simi, she's talented, her voice is something.
@@nanaadwoasiaw5868 I'm American, and I LOVE Simi!!!
Wait! It’s been 10 years since this song was released ?😮😮😮
Wow how time flies.
Still a jam though 🔥🔥❤️❤️
Who's here in 2020. Still feeling this music in 2020, I love y'all and y'all are talented
For those of you who are saying he is trying to be Jamaican, you should go do your research first about Africa n reggae music. Some of u might be old enough to know lucky dube, one of the best reggae artist Africa has ever had. If u don't know him look him up. Saying he shouldn't do reggae because he sounds Jamaican is like me telling a Jamaican u shouldn't have dreads because it started in Africa! Lol please I beg'o enjoy the music n shut up! Shoutout to patoranking, it's nice to get a different vibe from an African artist..Weh ya seh! Lol
Not only lucky dube, majek fashek and ras kimono are some to name a few
*****

+Nyima Fatajo Raggae music and Jamaican accent are two different things. I love Patoranking, but he is obviously trying to speak like a Jamaican. I am not mad on him because of that..but that is the reality. From what you say then, nobody should say white people are trying to be black...cuz we were all black at one point. Music is universal and if he feels like singing reggae is his own right. Nobody has to put him in a box and tell him what he should do or should not do. He is a free man!
whats ur problem cant we just enjoy the music
It’s 2022 and this is still a masterpiece
On God
Swears ❤
i'm here in 2023. I concur.
2023 and still jamming to this greatness.
Just randomly remembered it.
Just remembered this fire song and came on UA-cam to search it. This is one of my favourite Seyishay's music. This song was my ringtone for months. Love you Seyishay, never you give up❤
im loving how nigerian and other african artists are mixing patois and their african dialects to create these catchy tracks .They are giving even the Jamaican artists a run for their money ,heard pattoranking got signed to a major dancehall stable,Big up mahn.I LOVE this track and hope Nigerians and fellow africans keep pushing the envelope and creative boundaries..RRespect from Zimbabwe
Nigerians speak like that all the time but we call it pidgin
Actually the way Patoranking is speak is Jamaican Patois. Not Nigerian Pidgin. Nigerian Pidgin, has a lot more words from different tribes and a different way of speaking than Jamaican patois. I think it is cool how they incorporate other cultures in one.
This song deserves more views
true
Niiibs Big track I know
Nah nah seyi shay can sing tooo this is a fvcking jam. I know this song never knew she was the one
She is all round artist. She is fire. All her songs is fire.
Jamaicans and Nigerians are one, pidgin we speak is same, slave trade took our brethrens away from us but our music, in the form of reggae, dancehall, afrobeat will always brings us back together even more!
Still my favorite song ❤❤❤ in 2024
After Slavery ended, a lot of Jamaicans and Brazilians moved back to Nigeria and set up communities, hence the Saro people in Lagos and Rasta's. We are one and we should know our history.
Famzing them..smh! Slavery mentality.
story story stooooory!!!
MajorrBison The Saros and Amaros
MajorrBison LOL
Ah ah Seyi Shay are you the baddest or nah ? that voice ..can't believe she's 28
I don't have a problem with Nigerians speaking Jamaican patois at the end of the day we're all black and should be united.
agree
Right caribbean culture is heavily influenced by African culture Anyway
Its acutally pidgin
^^^^Sounds like patois
uhmm we do not speak patois we have our own broken English your country isnt the only country that speak broken english .... thats number one and number two nigerian has broken english and its called pidgin so nigerians arent speakin your languages thats what u need to know
Still jamming this hit. Love you Seyi Shay❤❤❤
This babe is just foreign standard please 🙌 seyi you are Queen 👑 tiwa is far from your talent and golden voice
It’s 2024 & still banging…quality over quantity
I don't know how I came here but I love this song!

Seyi Seyi out-did herself on the video. Wow... am so short of words. You dance real well, gat super kool moves and your voice is out of this world. This is 2022 and I still feel your vibe. Shaydee another talented dude but I don't know why He has been so silent
That sweet fight brought me here...waiting for part 2 though!
how have i never heard of sheyi before? she's on point...
James sameee
damn good
You are the best Nigeria female artist! forget this new ones that ain't diverse Nigerians just like pigin language too much
Love it...they are not trying to be Jamaican...I am Jamaican and I know that my ancestors are predominantly from Nigeria and Ghana.Patios says it all.We are family. My ancestors were able to hold on to many of the West African traditions...Anansi stories...obeah....our food.Love the connection.
Take this song to a 100 million views.
