Loved all your plans- that jacket is amazing and I’d Love a Live chat :) I must get that magazine and oh those socks! Also - thanks so much for the details In the video descriptions - I’m sure it takes time but it’s so so helpful - thanks for doing that!
Hi :-) As a long-time sewist and knitter AND dane (as the My Favourite Things knitwear-owner); I'd suggest that instead of just simply banning her patterns as non-size inclusive, you should write her an email with suggestions as to how she could better accommodate your wishes. I've heard you mention this problem in two videos now, so it must really mean a lot to you and since I totally agree with you, I think you should act on it. I hope you won't misunderstand what I'm trying to say, cause I mean it in the nicest way possible. :-) Love from Denmark
Even though I’m much older than you, your vibe really resonates with me. Love all your fall plans. And yes, since you have already bought the knitting patterns, it would be wasteful not to use them.
I also want to make overalls this fall - think I'm gonna make the yanta overalls from helens closet! I'd totally be down for an online sew together session on a Sunday - that sounds lovely.
I would love a live. I learned to knit from my great-grandmother when I was young and just bought knitting needles and yarn to make a wrap. Thank you for sharing and I am always excited to see your makes.
Bonjour Cassie j’espère que tu vas bien. Pour ton winter coat why you don’t use wool inside .?you could use it “inside” the quilting as the filler? Also the gorgeous fabric for the blouse…. You could make a broche using the “brown ish” flower that way you’ll have a part of the fabric you love turned into a jewel! Lastly lol if you really want to make the overall… why don’t you lay out first the pattern of the overall that way you’ll have them this fall 😉 … because if you always put them down last on your lay out…. There’s a good chance you’ll still have the fabric for winter wardrobe lol 😝…do you understand what I’m trying to explain?….do the hard/long stuff first and when you do your pants last you’ll be happy relaxed proud, for what you’ll have accomplished! Un gros merci pour le vidéo tu m’as donné des idées pour ma garde-robe…. Lol bon succès dans tes projects.😉😊
if you want to go quilting jacket yourself and you want to do it by store bought patterns, go big and by big I mean at least two or tree size bigger than your own normal size depending how much of a bulk you want, since you would want yo feel comfortable in it even after adding all that bulk. oh and consider a pattern that does has lining since you have to sandwich your material between lining and the actual fabric. PS: one more thing I forgot to mention all above instructions work in the case your patterns is not specialized for quilting fabrics, since by then I think they had considered the bulk in pattern making.
I’ve seen another creator make an item from a non size inclusive designer, but refuse to do advertising for them. They just don’t say the designer and pattern names. Maybe an option for us to think about when we own the patterns already.🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
This is true as well, but for my own personal sanity I think it is easier to mention the designer -- I've tried it before that way and had to field a lot of questions about the pattern and designer.
The cat with the pageboy cap was the best part of the Pinterest board! 🤭 These are great plans. I think I’ll be making some Pietra trousers and a knit top/sweatshirt , the Patina blouse, and a loungewear top. I also really wanna make a boiler suit, but I’m scared.
You can do it! Just take it really slow with a boiler suit, and make a toile if you’re really nervous to cut into good fabrics. And I’m so glad you noticed the cat it’s literally my favourite thing on the internet (there’s so many variations of it and I’ve saved most of them)
What fantastic plans! Can’t wait to see your makes - wonderful choices and oh the socks! 💕💕💕✨✨

You’re right, thank you for this reminder to take action on what is important to us 🤍
Looking forward to following along with your makes, whatever you choose to share! :)
Thanks Chelsea!
The jacket inspiration looks very similar to the Ayora jacket from Pauline Alice
Think sewing/knitting social would be great.

Thank you so much Nancy!
A live sounds like fun! I'd love to have a friend to knit with. 😊

Oh my goodness, you have such scrumptious fabrics! Where did you source them? All of them are making me want to sew immediately!
My favourites are blackbird fabrics, thefabricstore.com, and simplifi fabrics!

Merci Marie! You're right -- I should cut out the overalls pattern so that it is ready to go! Bonne journée!

Thanks for these tips! I appreciate it!
I'd love to join in on a live :) AKA: I WILL come to your bday party!
I would like to knit the Onoro Tank by good_night_day.
I think a live stream would be fun!
Thank you!
