The UK can be divided in four for weather; the west is wetter than the east (because most the rain comes in from the Atlantic) and the North is colder than the south. So the NW is the colder-wetter part of the UK.
As an observation, as someone who studied and worked in a number of different English universities for nearly 10 years, I noticed that non-UK students tend to stick together with and mix with other non-UK students and don't tend to mix with home students much. I think this is a great shame, because they miss out on learning about real British people and culture. Too often they just want to go to the touristy things, and don't really see the real Britain.
But sometimes people stick with their old friends and friends group so when you're an international student and dont have friends is more easy for you to be friends with other non-uk new students
British people are generally bad at foreign languages because 'all' foreigners speak English, so they have little incentive to learn. The school system struggles with trying to teach languages, but language exams are considered difficult and are avoided by many pupils. Language subjects are unpopular in British schools.
Welcome to British standards of customer service. I promise you will never get used to it. Every time I go to my bank branch the older staff there are always rude, bossy and unhelpful. Everything is too much trouble.
No I did not in the end, because when/if you move away from the UK you have to manually pay it back (and for other reasons). However, most UK students have since told me that they essentially see it as an extra 9% tax and noone ever pays back the full amount (unless you are a high earner).
@@MathildeMaltesers Thanks for the answer! Do you regret that you didn’t take it up tho? I am in my second year and thinking whether to take it for the remaining years. Although, uk students usually have much more to pay back as they take up maintenance loans in contrast to the eu students so they prob have less of a chance of paying it back :)
@@ddppo8065 yes this is true! I do and I don't: If it is true that you would save more by taking a loan, then I am a bit bitter - BUT, it is very nice to know that I am not in debt (to the UK government anyway) and don't have to worry about that hassle in the future 🤷♀️ However, if you are considering only 1-2 year loan I think it is very realistic to pay back quite quickly, if it's an easier option for you x
@@MathildeMaltesers thank you sm! Yes I’m kinda worried that the loan is for 30 years and the government can change the repayment system anytime so it may not be that convenient in the end. Anyways, I’ll do some research and in the meantime thanks for your vlogs! I love them x
I went to Denmark Copenhagen l noticed your female police are powerfully built and at least 6 ft tall and muscular l would not like to mess with them London is a rough place it is like a lover you don't know the person at first but gradually you will understand my advice to you is when it gets dark always be with others or be inside where your safe their are lot of dangerous men who don't deal with rejection very well or just hate females anyway good luck bye bye
I'm glad you know how things work in Denmark Ian. I'm guessing you've lived there and then decided to study abroad for you to be so au fait with it. As an aside, why did you end your sentence with a comma, Ian? Always proofread young man.

You are better off with a good rain coat. Umbrellas always get left somewhere and lost.

All this information would have been available before you decided to go to another country, try and take responsibility for yourself,
I disagree.
