hello! excited to start studying again because I have felt a little lost recently ... so much of my life is spent studying and working towards my future so having 3 months off kind of feels I'm getting nowhere,,, but I am trying to enjoy my time off while I have it and be able to go back and study hard!

One thing that really helps me is getting cute accessories, as then you really want to pick them up! I used to have the cutest laptop case from Burga, and it motivated me to study (especially in the library) so much!

i’m over in new zealand, calculated it and i think i have close to 103 days off uni for summer, crazyyyness. I miss it so bad we only go back on the 26th feb so still over a month 😅 also omg was just looking at your chem text books, one of the writers is my prof for chem over here!! alan blackman (he is such a hoot)
yessss I feel that way too!! usually the first 2 months are nice and relaxing and then I just start to want to go back because I love uni😅😅 and omg no way!! that’s so cool hahaha we used that textbook in my first year chem course! :O

I’m still trying to figure it out since it’s a bit different from my usual courses, but at the moment I’m trying to review stuff and then I think I’ll start doing a million questions! and I think consistency is key! 💗

it’s Wiley: Chemistry 2nd Edition - Blackman, Bottle, Schmid, Mocerino, Wille; I had to use it in one of my chemistry courses earlier in my degree :)

How do you stay so focused while studying that long?? i'm currently in med school (1st year) and i've been struggling with concentration and procrastination :/
I just started my new semester and i NEED my grades to be perfect !!
firstly, good luck in your first year of med school, how exciting and congratulations!!!! for focus, I try my best to remove background distractions, so I listen to repetitive/relaxing music, have my headphones, put my phone away, and sometimes do pomodoro to get started! and as much as I like studying with friends I get a lot more done when I’m in a little study booth alone hahah 🥲 you’ve got this!

In India we study chemistry in secondary and senior secondary school. Not in medical college 😅
In Texas, we do chemistry sophomore year (10th grade) but some states don’t require you to take chemistry to graduate high school.
