桂林东西巷，逍遥楼，Guilin East-West Lane，Xiaoyao Tower

桂林东西巷，位于靖江王城正阳门前，是桂林明清时代遗留下来的唯一的一条传统街巷。
在东西巷的西巷，矗立着圣小德兰天主堂，其前身是建立于1912年的美国南方浸信会福音堂。东西巷的东巷是游人聚集的主要街区。街上人头攒动，各种特色小店鳞次栉比，不时可见到名人故居建筑。街上有许多特色商店和美食店，如桂林三宝（三花酒、辣椒酱、豆腐乳）专卖店，银制品店，黄昌典毛笔店，民族服装租售店，以及正宗的“桂林米粉”店，等等。
逍遥楼，位于东巷的东端，漓江江畔。逍遥楼建于唐初武德年间（618-626年），具唐宋风格，简洁流畅通透古雅。唐代书法家颜真卿楷书“逍遥楼”碑，浑厚端莊，使楼阁增辉。在逍遥楼上凭栏远眺，锦绣漓江、七星岩普陀山、解放桥等尽收眼底……
Guilin East-West Alley located in front of the Zhengyang Gate of Jingjiang Palace is the only traditional street left over from the Ming and Qing dynasties in Guilin.
On the West Lane of East-West Alley stands the St. Peter's Church, which was formerly known as the Southern Baptist Gospel Church established in 1912 in the United States. The East Lane of the East-West Alley is the main block where tourists gather. The streets are crowded with people, and various specialty small shops are arranged in rows. From time to time, you can see the buildings of famous people's former residences. There are many specialty shops and food stores on the street, such as the Guilin Three Specials (Sanhua Wine, Chilli Sauce, fermented bean curd) store, the silver products store, the Huang Changdian brush shop, the national clothing store, and the authentic "Guilin Rice Noodles" store.
Xiaoyao Tower is located at the eastern end of East-West Alley, on the banks of the Li River. The Tower was built during the Wude period of the early Tang Dynasty (AD 618-626), with a Tang and Song style, simple, elegant. The Tang Dynasty calligrapher Yan Zhenqing wrote the "Xiaoyao Tower" monument in regular script, which was thick and dignified, adding luster to the Tower. From the Xiaoyao Tower, leaning against the railing, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful Li River, Seven Star and Putuo Mountain, Liberation Bridge, and more……
