Thought they were only south of Corpus and Alabama/Florida, but I thought that only because of various videos I have been watching and haven’t really researched into their distribution. Thought the same about pompanos too until I saw one of your vids when you caught one. Do the mangroves ever hit artificials?

How far from the rocks did the mangrove hit? We used to catch them down in Freeport with a small hook right along the rocks.
