Dueling Vintage Toastmaster (McGraw-Edison) Waffle Bakers

As you can see, I not only appreciate quality when it comes to electric fans and vacuum cleaners. I also collect other vintage household appliances. This is a video of two retro Toastmaster waffle irons making waffles. I have found that these older kitchen appliances are better than a good majority of the newer ones. These two irons are from about the same age, but the one closest to the camera is slightly newer than the second one. They are still both in beautiful shape and they will stay in that shape for as long as I own them.

WOW!!! I have this exact same waffle iron----haven't used it in years---pulled it out and had a disaster!! I couldn't remember how long to leave them in and if the light on top ever went off or not-how long to leave them in for-------so does the light go out---them come back on-----how does that work?? Thanks

So did i plug in iron close lid red light is on remember top is electrified and very hot when red light goes out iron is proper temp.too cook with batter on griddle don't use red light watch for steam to slow down.
