Hello dear Tonya and thank you so much for your support, yes it looks intimidating but once you start it you'll get addicted to ITH(in the hoop)😀. The needle that I use is 75 or 90 if I work a project that has dense fabrics like jeans. The clear tape that I use is wide scotch tape and I sometimes replace it with wide painter's tape. So far none of them stuck under or into my embroidery machines. The only tape that I use outside the stitch lines is the double adhesive one and I use it for securing the lines on top of each other for example, when I have a shirt stitched into a doll, I have to make sure the shirt neck line match perfectly for back and front side. I hope this helps but feel free to write me anytime if you have any other questions.
@@thestampinokie8796 Hello dear for me, personally the bigger the hoop the better, especially for in the hoop projects. It really depends on what you want to use it for. I have a Brother Innov-is V3 LE amzn.to/3Cubhl3 and works perfectly for me. The beginner one can be www.amazon.com/Brother-Computerized-Embroidery-SE1900-Combination/dp/B07C9RQP1D/ref=sr_1_11?crid=25AM4FXFRGP2Z&keywords=brother+pe+535+embroidery+machine&qid=1689955534&sprefix=brother+pe+%2Caps%2C206&sr=8-11 for 5x7 inch hoop.
Thank you for such a great video! I am so intimidated by this project but need to ask, what size needle did you use? Does the clear tape get stuck?
