Raisa comes from a family that cares a lot about education, also her husband is an Indonesian-Australian, she probably speaks english with her husband as well.
She deserves all the recognition. She has such a stable high voice that even her singing live much better than her studio album. The only singer that for over 10 years of her career are far from any scandal and rumor. Happy to see you Raisa in Daebak! Might the world very soon listen to the talent you have!
As an Indonesian myself, I can say that most of us Indonesians, we learn English esp. the pronunciation from singing and watching a lot of series/movies in English.
Eric, thank you for inviting one of Indonesia's best singer, Raisa. Since you had already met Raisa and Agnes before, can you please invite Isyana? She's such inspiring sunger also. Moreover, she has an easy going and kinda dork personality. I guarantee you there'll be no dull moments with her!
I can relate to her so much. Music has played a big role in my second (english) and third (korean) language acquisition. It requires a LOT of listening but the process was and still is very much enjoyable, so i always recommend people to do the same.
tru that, I learn English from song lyrics, look up for difficult words and imitate the pronunciation like since I was in elementary. also listening and watching English lang songs/films from early years such as when you're still in kindergarten helps a lot to decrease the accented English. anw rly love Raisa in Dive here with Eric Nam and been sharing it to my friends and my sisters lmao
Raisa english sounds good to me. As non native, i can understand what shes talking about, even usually i dont understand if native speaker talk or Eric Nam talk (maybe because they use special or particular words/slang and kind of that). I dont expect Raisa can talk english as well as this. Proud of you😘 for Dive and Eric Nam, im glad that you invited Raisa. Thank you.
Oh, it's really nice when Eric preface his question about Raisa's english speaking ability with that acknowledgment. Sometime we're purely curious about someone skill/ability but the wording of our question can come off as snobbish
my english teacher used to give a quiz about filling in the blank song lyrics. it was one of interested way to learn english because i love music and did studying on the same time.
Feeling cynical when i read the title at first because i thought "who doesn’t?" But then again maybe not everyone did it like Raisa and apparently me Singing help me learning languages
I like korean and besides that want to learn english then i found Dive studio, then i like korea but i'm muslim then i found korean muslim community which is now a worldwide Muslim community on KakaoTalk where I started learning Arabic.
