The Canadian boardercross team showed up to a fun banked we had in Ontario years ago. They destroyyyyyed everyone. 1) I remember them having a wax-tech on top of hill measuring snow temps between runs and adjusting...2) they all had Kesslers...and 3) I also remember them tucking into a ball for the entire run, never standing up, they looked like death and out of breath at end of every run like they were holding a 1min power squat. Tuck and Huck to win!
@@BoredProgression The world cup also banned 'high-fluro' wax for competition...its is crazy quick / expensive but you can still get it. Need to wear a respirator when applying it....haha...but thatd make the royal flush on secret tips!
Love this event, my 2nd year doing it. This year's course was on point! If they gave the rest of the locals, as much practice as park crew and employees got. We would have a real competition here. That said, why not open it up powmow! Why not give the rest of the competition a week of free laps as well? One practice run was all there was time for per age groups. So why not open it up for laps a week prior to the event? And use the day of as early am course prep prior to the event. My thoughts anyway. Look at who won in all age groups not a coincidence.
