I never seen anyone suggest this, but they could fix a lot of problems if they grouped more players together closer to their % dmg done, healing done (healers only), or dmg taken (defenders only). perhaps consider # of kills and # assists of players too. There are too many games where I have like only 1-2 other random teammate with a brain in ranked and we have to do everything ourselves. At the least this would eliminate these 0 kill, 0 assist, 3% dmg done Cinderace/Crustle (etc.) players from being grouped with people who actually belong in Master rank.
Defenders that don't act like defenders and are the first to run from a fight, worse yet, ones that DON'T FIGHT AT ALL, are my biggest peeves in this game. But that Crustle is entirely something else. Doesn't just have a screw loose, he's got a whole toolbox rattling around his head
Fr tho and in some games people don't even play defenders at all, I personally like playing defenders, but I can never pick them in solo queue because I always end up losing since I can't really carry games with a defender 🤦

That 28% win rate is actually incredibly impressive. It means people are not just winning a 4v5, but actually a 3v5, because someone rock tombing another player basically takes them out of the game too. Perma bans would be nice but i dont see it, wed rather ban people that use vc to actually say useful things rather than ban problematic behaviour.
And this is why we shouldn’t surrender games at 5 minutes. This is one of the worst people in the game and his team still manages to win nearly 30% of those game. Even if your teammate is griefing it’s worth those games that you win despite them

You want to suffer for 8 minutes just to feel vindicated (and along the way help a troll out), that's your choice, but many people would much rather leave quickly and find a match which isn't that frustrating
I think matchmaking should be based off of a performance score rating. Unite should also incentivize players to play support and defenders by offering bonus points/rewards. The performance score will take into account MVPs/Kills/Assists/Deaths/damage/damage taken/damage healed. It would create an accurate metric to value player skill opposed to Elo which is only based off winning % which is the least useful metric in this setting considering all the trolling going on.
Yesterday I was playing with a Decidueye like that in my game, I honestly thought it could be the same player, but it wasn't. After getting to level 7, he just circled around main goal for the entire match, and not only that, after I took jungle (because, of course, decidueye was our jungle), he kept stealing the buffs with spirit shackle only to keep running around our main goal. It was so frustrating to play like this. Not only they quit the game, they actively sabotage it for your teammates too.
How hard is it for Unite to automatically penalize players who the entire team says are trolling. The fact that the players who genuinely have DCs are the ones that are punished over the ones who intentionally afk or troll doesn't sit right with me.
Last season I discovered a Snorlax player (unfortunately forgot his name), with more than 4000 Snorlax games, who was just denying all the jungle experience, and lane when the jungle wasn't up. But like he knew it was bad, he just wanted the last hits. He obviously knew he was trolling. But bro, 4000 games..
i think i ran into the same guy. he was such a parasite and i couldnt believe he wasn't banned yet. even more upsetting is that unite won't punish players like this for a LONG time. its insane. very sorry you had to run into him though.
Honestly, Cris, you need to do more of these "trolls exposed" videos. The more people who see this irrefutable proof, the more who will report it to Timi and Nintendo, and the more trolls who will be removed from the game. Conversely, if neither company does anything about this despite the growing mountain of proof, the worse it makes those companies look, which will hurt their bottom line, despite their belief otherwise. Hubris ALWAYS outs in the end. ALWAYS.
Problem with that is he wouldn't be able to make such a series based off only his own games. Despite how many he plays, a lot of those players are simply just poor players and not an intentional troll who knows better. The only real way this would work is if he opened up video submissions for other players to submit their recorded games, but then would need to have someone else sort through them (he's too busy streaming and casting to just watch hours of gameplay to find good content) and then provide more commentary since he can't just let his streamed reactions play out for the rest of it.

I’m actually feeling tilted just watching this video. I’ve luckily never had anyone this awful in my games, but I’ve had some come close. The fact that there is no real punishment or deterrent for this behavior in game truly makes me reconsider continuing to play it. I hope this video gets a lot of attention.
I have 2 accounts. Last year, I found on my main account a Crustle that played exactly like that. The only difference tho is that he was actively against me (the jungler) so he spammed my position every 5 seconds on the quick chat and followed me to steal my jungle and every wild Pokémon he could. In fights, he prevented me from escaping because of Rock Tomb and watched me die everytime I was in a fight. I reported him but Unite didn't do anything. I also blocked him. His name is "Sycario" or something like that. 1 week after, I encountered him again on my other account. He did exactly the same thing. I blocked him on that account too but it's kinda sad to think about it: you are actively making your team lose and in a horrible way, blocking and mocking the jungler while also irritating others because of the quick chat spam
That Crustle gave us a very important number: You still win 28% of games even if you totally block off your team maximum. In reverse, 72% might be the best possible winrate. You still lose some games even if you play like a god and the opposing team has that Crustle. His low winrate could only be topped by teaming up with a second troll lol.
The worst thing is a player like this will receive no repercussions for doing shit like this. At worst they'd lose fair play points they can recover in like an hour.
A couple of days ago I encountered a troll gastly on the enemy team that just stood in our main base all game. The worst part is me and my friends (and surely the enemy team) reported him and it just said "Confirming" 😭

Cris I played a ranked game before with a jungle a9 with leftovers score shield and muscle I think she had a 34% win rate the matchmaking is absolutely horrendous 😢
That combo is definite troll material on A9. You want to run something like triple glasses, or Shell Bell + double glasses (nets me +96 in spatk, and THEN there are my spatk emblems).

I've played against a team that had a blastoise that didn't really play the game. They basically just ran around and never fully evolved. I felt bad for the enemy team

There are hundreds of thousands of bad players that NEED their accounts DELETED asap...ESPECIALLY when on solo queue and WHOLE team surrenders when they DIDN'T ko Regis at bottom,the KEY REASON teams are lvl 13,14 by 2 minutes and destroy Ray,forcing ME to 1 v 5 enemy team while having 0 points (I usually put 100 in before 2 minutes.).
This kind of survey exist since the beginning of the game... It didn't change anything, except that when we wrote about "new pokemons are exciting + what i enjoy is collect licenses", they built a paywall for each new pokemon, and increase their gold price... x)
I tried using Rock Tomb as Crustle, but really suck with the move, so I usually use Shell Smash and Stealth Rock, although occasionally I'll also use X-Scissor.

There is a guy named CrisClowns who trolled with a Snorlax. Did nothing the whole match and last hitted jungle buffs and other farms with his early game tackle. He is in master 1.6k+ rn, if you scroll through his profile in uniteapi then you can see multiple plays of him with less than 6% damage and even 1% ones.
I’ve actually had this guy in my team before, they kept rock tombing me when I took the jungle from his “jungle crustle” And SOMEHOW i barely won the game

Intentionally feeding isn't bannable. Turning on your microphone and saying hello can get you mic banned if someone reports you. There's no repercussions for trolls in this game because the devs don't care. Unite is just an abusive relationship. Anyone who sticks around hoping for a bright future is in for disappointment.
this has happened to me 4 times since goodra came out when i picked goodra. it's really frustrating and there's nothing you can do. 3 times was crustle griefing me 1 time was a trev just following me stealing every last hit. i purposefully walked all around the map into enemy flux zone etc and they just follow you anywhere. so you can get a voice comms false report ban, only lose 10 fair play points for going afk then get right back into a game, but no punishment for griefing this hard in game. it's quite ridiculous to me
I had a hoopa do this to me once tried to last hit my farm and putting portals to troll me and send me back to base but luckily i was playing Absol and was breaking his ankles the whole match and out securing the farm

This remembers me a PTSD game where a crustle and hoopa were going this to me, taking my jg exp , rock tombing and hyperspacing me so I cant take jungle and once they get the buff, they feint and give the buffs to enemy team. Somehow we won that game coz I was playing my main delphox . My trio q friends helped a lot as well. I really wish no one gets such troll players.. It just kills the spirit of the game

I had seen more worse than this. I had Espeon in my team who only stay in jungle only take buffs and believe me , he/she never come to fight. He never leave the jungle. He/she did this in more than ONE GAME
i had a gengar and zacian that both just stood in the base spamming thanks after losing the first fight, and both refused to surrender while we had to 3v5
I feel like people do stuff like this out of frustration. Of course good matchmaking and ladder system would also have ensured that he never got out of veteran and detected+punished the repeated throwing . Game really needs better communication among teammates. Every other normal team-based game has voice chat and text chat. Would solve soooo many issues with letting teammates stack, over-capping, which obj to go to etc. They deliberately kneecap player comms because theyre too afraid/cheap to come up with a good moderation system.
Happened with me tdy, a player didnt get to choose absol so he took comfey and didnt attach to anyone. Rather kept stealing our exp and didnt contribute and kept blabbing on.
Salty, much? Yeah, I get a little miffed when, say, Dragapult is picked when I want to play as her, but I manage. I just substitute Dragonite, Azumarill, or one of the other Pokémon I'm good with. And I'm pretty good with a LOT of Pokémon. But to do this? Deliberately go out of your way to not just sandbag yourself, but to try to prevent other players from trying to pick up the slack? That's beyond low.

I think Unite needs a down/up vote system that affects your fair play rating directly. Yes there will be vindictive players who abuse it but 1 vote will not tank you. But a simple voting system and actual bans to go with the low aggregate ratings may slow these trolls down. And bonuses to energy and maybe coin for having higher ratings etc. I am a MOBA newb so I am just spitballing.
That's one thing I hate about this game. There's no option too to permanently block someone to be on my team. I play in the region with very few people playing and it's not uncommon to randomly team-up with same player several times.
As a crustle main, I can admit that some of my kind take the whole “troll” thing to a diffrent level. Sometimes when I trap foes, I spin, but this player is a disgrace to our kind
This is one clear example of why we need the kick player option 😔 This option will start a poll (just like surrendering) but voting if we want any player out of the match and replaced with a bot; also the kicked player will be punished by losing more participation points or something like that.

By Fair Play points if your current FP is lower than a specific threshold, you wouldn't be allowed to play some modes or rank. This person's total FP points is 71 and since he falls under 80 FP, he's banned from rank until he gets back above 80. Checking his records on Crustle, this is intentional trolling and HOW is he 1500 Masters as of now
Ive had platers never engage the enemy and spend the whole game stealing farm non-stop. Making it so everyone is under leveled during every and we're always down 1 player

Nice idea, but it will grief matchmaking for some pokemon, like SG/HH Blissey for instance.

Afk can easilly detect by the system. But trolls are not.

In fights, he prevented me from escaping because of Rock Tomb and watched me die everytime I was in a fight. I reported him but Unite didn't do anything. I also blocked him. His name is "Sycario" or something like that. 1 week after, I encountered him again on my other account. He did exactly the same thing. I blocked him on that account too but it's kinda sad to think about it: you are actively making your team lose and in a horrible way, blocking and mocking the jungler while also irritating others because of the quick chat spam

That Crustle gave us a very important number: You still win 28% of games even if you totally block off your team maximum. In reverse, 72% might be the best possible winrate. You still lose some games even if you play like a god and the opposing team has that Crustle. His low winrate could only be topped by teaming up with a second troll lol.
The worst thing is a player like this will receive no repercussions for doing shit like this. At worst they'd lose fair play points they can recover in like an hour.
A couple of days ago I encountered a troll gastly on the enemy team that just stood in our main base all game. The worst part is me and my friends (and surely the enemy team) reported him and it just said "Confirming" 😭

Cris I played a ranked game before with a jungle a9 with leftovers score shield and muscle I think she had a 34% win rate the matchmaking is absolutely horrendous 😢

I let Nintendo® & Tencent HAVE it with the survey. 100 players getting blocked IS NOT ENOUGH!! There are hundreds of thousands of bad players that NEED their accounts DELETED asap...ESPECIALLY when on solo queue and WHOLE team surrenders when they DIDN'T ko Regis at bottom,the KEY REASON teams are lvl 13,14 by 2 minutes and destroy Ray,forcing ME to 1 v 5 enemy team while having 0 points (I usually put 100 in before 2 minutes.).
This kind of survey exist since the beginning of the game... It didn't change anything, except that when we wrote about "new pokemons are exciting + what i enjoy is collect licenses", they built a paywall for each new pokemon, and increase their gold price... x)

I kept accidentally placing rock tombs in front of my teammates during the Zacian event. We never did lose, though. I just felt bad about it.
I tried using Rock Tomb as Crustle, but really suck with the move, so I usually use Shell Smash and Stealth Rock, although occasionally I'll also use X-Scissor.
I had this exact thing happen to me yesterday. It is really hard to keep playing when that crustle is on your team...

or the people who hunker down in base, but move around every so often, to dodge the AFK reports. "I wasn't AFKing. See? I moved sometimes. So don't use that excuse against me as to why we lost."
A "special" kind of tryhard, in my opinion--putting in a lot of effort to deliberately throw games, but also dodge auto-reporting as well, in order to keep doing this (by virtue of the lack of reports).

I swear this game needs a serious penalty system for these players who constantly do this type of stuff. They need to be banned from playing with human players, only allowed to play with bots. Its not fair at all to other players trying to win and go up in ranked
There is a guy named CrisClowns who trolled with a Snorlax. Did nothing the whole match and last hitted jungle buffs and other farms with his early game tackle. He is in master 1.6k+ rn, if you scroll through his profile in uniteapi then you can see multiple plays of him with less than 6% damage and even 1% ones.

There's also a player named mintoure. He sabotages games too. If he doesn't get center , he'll tilt.

@@mj1047 I have screen recorded the guy, some how he was in my team 3-4 times. If you check unite api, the game he tilts, he tilts hard. Hardly any damage output. Will sit in jungle and wait for the buffs to reapper and do over again. Players like these should be perma banned no questions asked.
Intentionally feeding isn't bannable. Turning on your microphone and saying hello can get you mic banned if someone reports you. There's no repercussions for trolls in this game because the devs don't care. Unite is just an abusive relationship. Anyone who sticks around hoping for a bright future is in for disappointment.

this has happened to me 4 times since goodra came out when i picked goodra. it's really frustrating and there's nothing you can do. 3 times was crustle griefing me 1 time was a trev just following me stealing every last hit. i purposefully walked all around the map into enemy flux zone etc and they just follow you anywhere. so you can get a voice comms false report ban, only lose 10 fair play points for going afk then get right back into a game, but no punishment for griefing this hard in game. it's quite ridiculous to me
I had a hoopa do this to me once tried to last hit my farm and putting portals to troll me and send me back to base but luckily i was playing Absol and was breaking his ankles the whole match and out securing the farm

Theory is that the goodra griefed him now he getting revenge. He probably picks crustle when he recognizes the names. He does has above 50 percent win ratio in lot of mons
I wish there is a feature to ban a player from not entering our match.. Or if the ban makes some sense;. This remembers me a PTSD game where a crustle and hoopa were going this to me, taking my jg exp , rock tombing and hyperspacing me so I cant take jungle and once they get the buff, they feint and give the buffs to enemy team. Somehow we won that game coz I was playing my main delphox . My trio q friends helped a lot as well.

I feel like people do stuff like this out of frustration. Of course good matchmaking and ladder system would also have ensured that he never got out of veteran and detected+punished the repeated throwing .
Game really needs better communication among teammates. Every other normal team-based game has voice chat and text chat. Would solve soooo many issues with letting teammates stack, over-capping, which obj to go to etc. They deliberately kneecap player comms because theyre too afraid/cheap to come up with a good moderation system.
Happened with me tdy, a player didnt get to choose absol so he took comfey and didnt attach to anyone. Rather kept stealing our exp and didnt contribute and kept blabbing on.
He probably picks Crustle everytime the pokemon he wants to play is picked by someone else, like Goodra, and just messes with them.
Salty, much? Yeah, I get a little miffed when, say, Dragapult is picked when I want to play as her, but I manage. I just substitute Dragonite, Azumarill, or one of the other Pokémon I'm good with. And I'm pretty good with a LOT of Pokémon.
But to do this? Deliberately go out of your way to not just sandbag yourself, but to try to prevent other players from trying to pick up the slack? That's beyond low.

I think Unite needs a down/up vote system that affects your fair play rating directly. Yes there will be vindictive players who abuse it but 1 vote will not tank you. But a simple voting system and actual bans to go with the low aggregate ratings may slow these trolls down. And bonuses to energy and maybe coin for having higher ratings etc. I am a MOBA newb so I am just spitballing.

That's one thing I hate about this game. There's no option too to permanently block someone to be on my team. I play in the region with very few people playing and it's not uncommon to randomly team-up with same player several times.

As a crustle main, I can admit that some of my kind take the whole “troll” thing to a diffrent level. Sometimes when I trap foes, I spin, but this player is a disgrace to our kind

This is one clear example of why we need the kick player option 😔
This option will start a poll (just like surrendering) but voting if we want any player out of the match and replaced with a bot; also the kicked player will be punished by losing more participation points or something like that.
Although this would be nice I feel like even trolls can abuse this and get innocent people voted off the team as unfortunate as that would be

I allowed him to go jungle even after i asked for it first since our team needed a defender and i play mamo. He started trolling, following me arround and stealing my farm after i took the blue buff to get lvl5
That crustle is the definition of trolling and for some reason this season is actually flooded with players like this i have seen people playing gengar with attack weight, weakness policy and more and not just gengar every Pokemon this season is turning in to a nightmare for me i swear to god please unite do something about this

By Fair Play points if your current FP is lower than a specific threshold, you wouldn't be allowed to play some modes or rank. This person's total FP points is 71 and since he falls under 80 FP, he's banned from rank until he gets back above 80. Checking his records on Crustle, this is intentional trolling and HOW is he 1500 Masters as of now
Ive had platers never engage the enemy and spend the whole game stealing farm non-stop. Making it so everyone is under leveled during every and we're always down 1 player
