The wife wrecked our 2.4 liter 2012 equinox, best thing to ever happen to us. I got a 05 LeSabre with low miles and replaced the lower intake gasket and upper plenum, best car I have ever owned. Don't care if I look like an old man going down the road!
Wish you could fix my ex`s 2013 Equinox. She bought it a year ago, 3 months ago started knocking LOUD! Nobody here will touch it. They just want to replace the engine. Other than the engine blowing up,, the car is in really good shape. I know the oil was changed, because I was the one who did all the oil changes on it. These 4 bangers are well known for blowing up.

Got the 3.8 in my o8 buick. Great engine.
3.8 is quite an engine, really good gas mileage, low maintenance and reliability and longevity. Can’t beat it.
An ecotech engine that hasn't committed suicide. That's novel.
Times are tough for many. Better know a good wrench.
