Love the tips! Also wanted to share that a Post It Note works well to hold a small piece of paper to be punched that is so small that it can't be held in place with your hands when it is in the punch. SImply attach the sticky portion of the Post It Note to the side of the small piece of paper :D So easy!

Hi there, I tried my hand at being a Stampin Up! demonstrator years ago but, just couldn't get much of a following. I LOVED Stampin Up! Making cards and embellishments was so much fun. I was asked to create invitations, place markers and more for my company Christmas party 2 years in a row. One was an Asian theme and the other was Snowflakes. I loved the stamping and heat embossing and the whole creative process. I put in a lot of time (on top of working my regular job) but, it didn't feel like work. I was signed up on my sisters down line and if I could have afforded to, I would probably still be demonstrating. Although I still have my stamps and pads I'm a bit behind the times. I got out of the business just as the new clear sets and supplies were coming out. I miss "playing with ink" on a daily basis. I think you're video has reignited my creative flame (😳 kinda dangerous around paper products, lol!). 😉 Thank you so much for popping up on my suggested video feed and providing that spark.
@@simplysimplestamping Yes, Connie, I had so much fun with ink and paper. It is so different from my life long love of crochet (and now knitting too). I'm planning on getting out my stamps, inks and papers to get back into making pretty things. Hopefully the pads aren't too dried up. I have some refills too but...what's the shelf life on those?! 🤔 Lol!

If you get a pack with the page markers, you have ready-made thin holders.

Useful tips! Thx! I use a post it note to attach to bits that are a bit too small to go into the punch. Works the same as your strips.
