We are talking about aircraft that can easily fight from thousands of meters in the air.
Other than for the reasons of plot.There is no reason for any of the aircraft to be so low. Same as in every Kaiju movie where fighter jets fly low and slow and fire missiles from under 1km when the reality is they would be firing from dozens of miles away and tens of thousands of feet up.
Not going to lie, seeing Godzilla curb-stomp some Skullcrawlers would be pretty funny.

The 2005 movie version of skull island does have dinosaurs prefer that one over this one.
There's a triceratops skull that's bigger than they ever really got in the graveyard scene
The video creator missed some stuff and there is prob more undocumented. One example of a dinosaur like creature he forgot are the Death Jackles. They were in the comic and are similar to Dromaeosaurids like raptors, with hair like razor sharp neural spines along their backs. Their metabolism is in overdrive so they constantly need to eat and will eat each other and parts of their own body in fits of hunger.
Dinosaurs are not mythical creatures but terrifying, yes.

Sebasstain Castellanos if you saw Godzilla 2014, Godzilla got hit by a nuke DESIGNED to kill him and he was fine. The MUTOS literally ate nukes when mating.

The Citizens frogfish have a similar setup and there's a lizard (forgot its name, sorry) that has something similar as well, in real life, so clearly it's not that bad of a design. They are perfectly suited to their environments. The skullcrawlers are basically an invasive species if their existence is that disruptive to the ecosystem. The way it uses its tail as a weapon as well as using it as a means of gripping and climbing, claws that can tear things apart (also beneficial for climbing), a nice long snout filled with sharp teeth (and no doubt an incredible bite force). No wonder it's such a problem there, it thrives a little too well.

Like most vs movies. They likely won't want to displease any fans so they'll make them either tie or fight together and there won't be a "winner". That being said, Godzilla survived a nuclear blast twice and an oxygen destroyer weapon so...I definitely don't think Kong could kill him. Kong however I feel is smarter because he can use tools so he probably has an advantage of that and higher ground
A Fucking humongous lizard with laser breathing powers compared to a huge Gorilla that has climbing skill and fighting skill. Yeah that’s easy Godzilla, but Kong can still have a chance if the environment has things that he can grab onto, he might have a chance.

I want to see how Kong evolved. There is a huge hype for the upcoming movie, can't wait. My favorite creature from the island is sker buffalo, such a nice docile herbivore. I like how Kong is protective of this creature, respect to him. Both Kong and Godzilla are fantastic for their tendencies to keep the balance, that is why i believe they won't kill each other. They are just too iconic to do so.

I really like the Skull Crawlers. They make the V-Rexes look like jackals in comparison as their hyper metabolism makes them extremely dangerous. Plus I like how they are the realization of the original Kong idea, with a gorilla fighting a Komodo dragon. The Siren Jaw is another terrifying creature but the Mother Longlegs are something out of my nightmares.

My favourite animal on the island is the mother long legs mostly because it has such an interesting way of camouflage and a very large amount of things to protect itself
