Asa retired attorney who represented multiple people who were falsely accused of sexual assault, I have a pretty good idea of what you went through. It takes a lot of courage to admit some poor decisions and tell the truth. One thing that I know for sure is that the truth never changes and lies always change.

Big props to your dad. It is terribly difficult to do what he did. I never played baseball, but my son has been in love with it since before he was old enough to play organized ball. His passion has driven me to do exactly what your dad did. I have spent hours learning on youtube and online (for rules and strategies). So my son and I have learned baseball at the same rate. He is 11 now, still just as passionate, really talented, and knows more than me now. It is depressing that I can no longer throw the ball hard enough to him, or straight enough (bp lol). I have loved this journey. We have both leaned to dig balls out of the dirt, even though he is better (lefty and has been at first base since he was 5, so he has loads of practice). Just so amazed how this journey has gone. I am sure your dad went through the same amazement as I am currently doing with my son.

I offer bittersweet Congratulations. Of course it's great news and I'm happy for him. But it also goes to show that it was all bullshit in the first place and that is irritating as hell. Everything he's been forced to deal with because of it... I'll just say I have a very different opinion of Trevor Bauer after seeing the way he has conducted himself throughout this harrowing and undeserved tribulation. Even knowing you're innocent can only comfort so much when faced with the reality that it doesn't matter what you know it matters what the authorities believe and what verdicts conclude. Staying positive and somehow not being consumed by resentment and anger through such times is worthy of a lot of respect. ✊🏻

my tryouts were last week, i made the team. just put in the work, go to all the volunteer workouts and get to know the coaches, ask questions and just have fun

Congrats on the news Trevor. The truth will always set you free. I am too old now for the head bands, but I wore them for years. I was 9th rounder to the Padres but ended up having elbow problems. I was a catcher.

If y’all need a change up I was terrible at throwing a change but I could throw a knuckle so I developed a knuckle change knuckled your middle finger on a 4 seam change grip and just throw it hard hope this helps
