The moment everything changed is when the mandalorian decided his sense of honor wouldn't allow the torture of a child. Even if it meant breaking the guild code.

i think that this father-child relationship is so pure and i’m always a sucker for this dynamic. mando walks the line between tough and gentle so perfectly in this series, which is a testament of pedro pascal’s acting and the great writing!

I like this love story.
The tale of a Mandalorian on his path to rule his people, and the child who changed his course to this path.
Who would had thought that one things to keep SW fan interest was a bounty Hunter and a cute 50 years.
Just good old-fashioned virtues.
this is like some old style movies, fathers revenge etc..... or a baby left at a door, woman raises it, real family comes to get it and turns out the stepmom could use a rifle.... being a lone women needs must etc... those were good movies. and this one feels the same.
It's an adaptation from "lone wolf and cub" TV series!
@72 ventura I believe in an interview the writers acknowledged that they were partly inspired by Lone Wolf and Cub.
The Mandalorian series is what Star Wars ought to be: a mix of western spaghetti, samourai tale of honor and morality with a strong sci fi backdrop.
I especially love the small scale feeling. No fleets of thousands of ships but a story between characters.
For real!
This is why I could never get into it after the original Star Wars Trilogy.
Something was missing.
This series makes me become a fan again.

I’d be a jedi I think. I love the mandos don’t get me wrong, but I’m not really about wearing armor and a helmet all the time and the whole dis ciplined warrior thing. Being a jedi requires discipline but a different type. I’d have a hell of a time with having no attachments.

This was beautiful...very moving and the editing was flawless. 😊❤ When Mando was fighting off the bounty hunters after he rescued The Child, and he looked down and The Child looks at him and coos, as if to say, "You came back for me..." So touching.

Clan of two. 💕 Love Din because despite being a pragmatic bounty hunter, someone who lives with violence, he tries to do the right thing and stay true to his code and himself. That's a hero.

Tremendous stitch editing to convey the key events in S1 that led to the pairing and bond between these two.
Considering one actor is a muppet and the other has a mask on at all times ... it is incredible how they inspire such an emotional reaction from the audience.

It was phenomenal! Love the Spaghetti Western take it tries to do. Don't like the acting of "Apollo Creed" and a one or two others that are only in one episode each... But the story line is pretty damned good!
Absolutely loved this show!!! I first watched kinda opened minded, kinda thinking that Disney was just cashing in, but then it was just great! Was happy that the more learned about how jon fav. and others did for this, it just made it great!!!
I absolutely LOVED it! There was only one episode that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I need to go back & rewatch the whole thing a few times. It was exceptionally well crafted. It drew me in & held my attention completely. Every episode left me longing for more. It was such a treat seeing so much more of the SW universe. The acting was top notch. I can't stop raving about Pedro Pascal. And I've only ever seen Gina Carano in one movie long ago. She has improved greatly since then. All the one off characters were wonderful. I enjoyed all the call backs to other movies & shows in the SWU. Finally I loved how everyone involved was having fun. I am anxiously awaiting season 2. This show alone made the subscription to Disney+ worth it.
I 💘 this show, it is my favorite of 2019 and can't wait for season 2. I just love how they show this jaded flawed super bad ass man with some serious emotional baggage develop this wonderful fatherly bond with this child. As I'm writing this I keep thinking of all the bad habits Baby Yoda is picking up😉😹😹😹

What a wonderful video. I can imagine it had its challenges as Mando never takes off the helmet and you have to work with what you get. But you were able to make something nice and compelling. A bit of a look at our Clan of Two and their adventures across the season. Whatever the second season will hold, I can imagine we'll see some great content you can use for the next potential video.

to think when mando died baby yoda would be what? a child? or just entering puberty? we re talking about a 50 yo toddler, so mando better live long enough for the baby to pass puberty at least. anakin turned lord vader as a very young father whose mother died recently. who knows this one would end up if mando dies in his puberty.
