Located near Totton station, outside Southampton in Hampshire. The crossing has quite loud alarms and is on a busy road. There's also an old footbridge here.

And it's a sight you'll unfortunately never see again. R.I.P Class 442's (1987-2021). Unique trains gone too soon. Waste of time scrapping them.

Such a shame how it ended for the 442's. Iconic units wasted. Why couldn't have they converted them to MK3 coaches or use them for railtours, or bi-mode regional express trains? It would've saved money than purchasing new trains. Glad that not all of the 319's were scrapped, as they have a new life at Porterbrook as 769's. Hopefully the TFW and GWR 769's will get sent to Northern, as it would be more iconic.
