They did Charlie wrong in story mode man...why would you hype up bringing him back after years of being dead and absent from street fighter just for that? That was disappointing, he should have been the one to kill Bison. I enjoyed story mode but that, along with the fact that all of a sudden Karin is a main character and is bossing all the veterans around,even tho she only appeared in ONE game before this as sakura's stuck up snotty nosed rival, really put me off.
Yeah the story is...well...pretty bad. There is literally no telling who's the main character due to karin got most of the gameplay and leadership, rashid ended up being the one who actually saved the day. Necali is nothing more than a punching bag and Ryu defeated bison with the sacrifice of Nash. The script is indeed messed up, but this is the first time street fighter get an actual story mode so we can't really blame them for did it horrible. First time for everything after all, despite there're still some plot holes even after their attempts at covered it

Remember how it was confirmed that Charlie Nash's status is unknown meaning that there is a 50/50 chance that he is alive or dead? Remember how in the story mode Nash had the ability to absorb energy and he absorbed some of M. BISON'S psycho energy to weaken him? I was thinking that maybe while he was making his heroic "sacrifice" and absorbed some of Bison's psycho energy, he probably managed to not just steal some of his energy, but also some of his power. And remember how M. Bison kept coming back from the dead and it was because of his psycho power magic thing? I was thinking that maybe Nash could return the same way Bison did (or at least in a similar way). Again, I'm not sure if it is plausible, or if I'm just spitting out nonsense, but I'm willing to say that there is a chance for Nash to return, and it could be like that. I was way too young to play sf alpha at the time, and I would like to say Nash was the ONLY reason why I bought a fucking ps4 and get sf5, he made me move away from the shotos that I've always played in every street fighter. I really hope he doesn't fade into obscurity in the future.
