Cindy here. That Is absolutely amazing. I don’t know how you figured that out. It lays perfectly on your neck also. I always learn something from you. Thank you so much.
WOW!! I absolutely love it! You did an amazing job of designing and assembling this gorgeous necklace. It reminds me of the ancient Egyptian beaded tunic dresses. There are several versions that I have seen on display and I'd love to assemble something like this. Maybe one day, I will do so. Thank you so much for the video and lesson. Take care and have a great day! 😊💖🙏
Louisa, You are my favorite instructor! Your descriptions are so concise and clear and even though I've been making jewelry for 10 years, I still manage to learn new techniques and discover new components. Thank you! Cheryl Shiflett Durham, NC
Luisa you are so talented and the necklace looks beautiful on you. You are the perfect model for it! Thank you for sharing your creativity with all of us💜
Love it! I am a statement jewelry girl myself. The bigger, flashier, and more strands/layers the better. If my jewelry enters a room before I do, then I’ve done it right. LOL
I love it too!! I’m so amazed that you were able to create this pattern - I never would have thought of this. Your talent is truly amazing! I’m so tired of all of the “holiday” designs as they’ve been up since “Christmas in July” and then in September people where at it again. For me, it’s too much so this video was a breath of fresh air and I thank you for that! Thank you for sharing 💜
That piece is gorgeous on you. I would love to make it, but I'm not sure I'd have the patience. It's a great design. I'll give myself a little more experience, and then try it. Thanks for sharing your hard work.
Absolutely love this necklace.. not overdone at all. Just gorgeous.. and there are a lot of options , if people think It is too much,, but I will make it just as you did, and love love love it.
I think this one is amazing. I have been looking at your older videos and oh my gosh I fell in love with this one. It is going to rain for a few days so this will be my rainy day project. ❤
Hi there! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video (the others as well). This necklace was an intense design but with your video and the wonderful way that you explain things makes this a fun and exciting project! I love this and cannot wait to try this myself. Thank you so much for your videos and your talent in jewelry making!
Luisa I think I want to give this statement necklace a try. Mainly made earrings but I love this colorful piece and be my first try. I love your videos and stay up late to watch and learn from you. Your ideas are amazing!! Thank you for sharing.
Hi Luisa!! Your Christmas Tree is perfect!! I can only imagine what your upstairs looks like!....I’m sure it’s very tasteful and gorgeous!! The necklace is awesome.....definitely you!! The length of the necklace is perfect!! Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone I could make the necklace for.....I did enjoy the video and how you are so honest about what you enjoy and didn’t enjoy about the construction of the necklace!! Hopefully, we’ll see you in a video before Christmas .........if not, I hope you and your family have a happy and blessed Christmas!!
I love it! The multicolors aren't my thing, but the pattern is one that I've actually been looking for ever since I had a slave bracelet with the same design that I got at a street market many years ago in Berkely, by an old hippie guy from my generation, lol. It broke, and then I lost it and I've been looking ever since. Thank you! It looks awesome on you, but I'm gonna use it to make my slave bracelet, probably with crystals, or maybe some little Czech glass druks. I don't know, probably end up using something completely different, lol. But thanks for sharing this! 😊🌺✨
I think that necklace is beautiful and not over the top. With a plain dark-colored outfit (navy blue or black), muted multi-colored shoes and purse to match the colors in the necklace , and some short dangle earring also matching colors in the necklace (no brooch or bracelets), I think it is a totally classy, elegant look.
Great necklace. The only thing I would change for myself is that the big rings would all show the same pattern (either with the marks to see or not - but that‘s only me). 😀
A vJ Yes, that’s an excellent point! I actually didn’t inspect the rings until I had already begun the recording. I thought the marks were on both sides. But you’re 100% correct! Good catch!
If you take the cutting portion off a one step looper and could leave room for a tail , this would be great quick painless way to start wired wrapped loops. The only thing you would have to do is wrap the tail.... 🤔
I was getting ready to turn in for the day and noticed your message. I think black would look nice. I have to warn you though...the necklace is a bit fiddly to make because you have to pay close attention to how the loops are oriented once you get ready to assemble everything but you can certainly give it a try. Regarding the gauge...I believe I used 20 gauge for the headpins. The large jump rings were made out of hard metal and had a stamped design but any closed jump ring 10mm to 12mm in diameter would be fine...20-22 gauge. Good luck! 😊❤️
It’s not that complicated! Use a finer nose pliers next time. This design has been done for centuries. You reinvented the wheel in the most laborious way possible.
I’m sure the design has been around. It’s just like me to find the most complicated way to do things! 😂. I’ll research my beading books and the internet. I’m sure there’s an easier way. Do you happen to know the name of this pattern/design?

Awesome! Make sure you have a wine or something else to keep you relaxed because it’s a bit challenging connecting the components 😁

Where to find or look for those round gun metal rings? and head pins? thank you.
What is the name of the pliers you use with the yellow handle? And where can I find it? Thank you.
Great video.

Is black wire possible if I can't find gunmetal? What gauge are the headpins/jump rings.?
