@@203-g7w towards the back is where everyone was kinda going crazy, everyone towards the front had gotten crowd killed a few times during the middle of the show so they were all kinda irritated and tired
@@noot6230 Yeah it looked surprisingly un-crazy at the front but that's kinda cool actually, splitting it between people at the front that just want to watch the band play and have a good time, and then have the proper pit at the back. Crowd killing ain't so cool though. I'm in the UK and we don't seem to have that kinda stuff going on, its more traditional mosh pits and so on. So when I watch something like this - ua-cam.com/video/gCR5jwLVf0E/v-deo.html - it looks fucking crazy. Don't know how anyone walks out of a festival like that with their bones not broken. So even tho I've had a lot more exposure to metal than hardcore, and that Turnstile set looks kinda terrifying, checking out the scene at Philly at some point in my life is definitely on the bucket list just for the adrenaline rush and the atmosphere. Hell, even just visiting America would be great but lots of hoops to jump through to get a visa. What an awesome light show at this Chelsea Grin set btw. I wonder if it's a house light tech or if they tour with their own. Everything looks great though. Sounds like they have some guitar backing tracks going on to thicken things up and cover the additional guitar parts. Makes sense these days to get the live show sounding polished and closer to the albums.
@@fallenleosets after 11 years i'm finally getting a chance to see them next month, bands don't tend to go that far down south very often (Chile) gonna be the first time I see them, I was a poor teenager the first time they came here.
This is literally a comfort video for me. My husband and I moved to Tennessee a week before this show. We lived an hour from Richmond and went to metal shows at the Canal Club 3-4 times a month. We miss it so much. To see all the familiar sights, and with one of my favorite bands no less, makes me so happy. Thank you for this video. I will be coming back to this whenever I'm missing our favorite place back home 💜
Was a great show from top to bottom! Sucks for a lot of the people in the front that got crowd killed. Prolly the second most hype crowd being around at a show this year fr
Keeping the name is cool....but probably time to start keeping those songs off the set list. They've got two albums worth of material..... and it really does feel like a different band now.... even the last album really felt much different. They were part of the era that really kick started this genre..... and now they're copying bands two generations on heh.
I get where you’re coming from but I don’t think it would be fair to longtime fans to not play their old stuff. It’s up to CG if they wanna play their old stuff, but as a long time fan, it’s cool to hear those songs live still to this day.@@Cheeseburger.Launch.Sequence
Sucs that when the crowd isnt hyped....it takes away from the show/vibe......I wonder why that is? Ive noticed it does this for a lot of people that watch these live shows on the tube. Myself included.
This venue and this scene are very prominently hype toward the back of the floor. The front of this venue is meant for chilling. It’s kind of weird. It depends on the band playing.
So I was at the show, it was very hype towards the back but we had issues with people crowd killing and stuff and it got a little chaotic so people were getting hurt. Can confirm everyone was hype though
@@noot6230 That shit sucks dude. Its cool if everyone involved is cool with it but just randomly crowd killing is fucked up.....That shit should've died with Dillinger.
hands down to the best voice in that metal scene that trigger all deathmetal virgins
best voice is saying a bit much. best gerr maybe...
best band ever
Sheesh the mix on this fuuuuucks.
The bouncer was diggin that shit
he’s the nicest dude you’ll ever meet, he’s been at every show i’ve been to there
I was at this show, it was absolutely insane
the crowd is literally just standing there. not even head banging

Half the problem is everyone on their phones rather than enjoying the moment
TOM BARBER FTW XP

Irritating sea of phones, enjoy the show. Why do you want the same unwatchable video as 100 other people.
