IMHO, Stellan Skarsgård's character performance was one of THE TOP in Star Wars history. He should have won a Golden Globe for it.

CG giving Stellan Skarsgård some love.
Saw lead omi makes characters call themselves to assist when they use a special during their turn. Thus Luthen will pick up the 25 speed every turn and will be able to inflict fear even if he uses a special (unless he's dazed).
Giving Mon the special 1 bonus through the omi will let her ignore taunt and call a rally while taunt ignoring for much more damage.

I think he was saying the kit doesn’t seem conquest worthy not the character himself. More like trench where it will make the team he’s on better but not be a GL killer like most conquest units

The Offense boost for mon mothma buffs the summon. In his unique it says that his stats scale with the stats of the summoner.
Nice to know I don't have to tryhard conquest for the next 3 months.

I hope Luther makes farming Saw Gerrara for JKCK worthwhile. Loved the show, so glad he’s here.
Depends where you are, I would have to relic Saw, Chirrut and Baze. And then properly mod them. And I would much rather invest into another GL requirements. I can see this team working at G12 in lower leagues, but I am not sure it will work in higher tiers of Kyber. At this point I have too many teams to use and I keep leaving some on the bench :/
But it may boost Saw into usability for the top K1 players =)
I flop between K3 and K4, and I could say I definitely have use for another good team. Half of my defenses are trash that can be almost solod. If this saw/luthen team is as good as, say, Starkiller, I would happily gear up them all. Sure, you can put that resources toward a GL, but that literally applies to every team you have ever worked on, and you can gear up at least 3 other teams for the amount of resources you need to put toward a GL. So it comes down to whether those 3 other teams you’re gearing are more helpful than the 1 GL. For me, I need two main things in my swgoh account to improve: more GL counters and stronger defensive teams. If saw + luthen is either of those, I’ll add them to the list of farms after aphra and JKCK, before I get Jabba.
Hopefully his ship the Fondor could be used to bolster the Ackbar fleet
I mean Malicos had a pretty secondary role in Fallen Order so I would say Luthen is way more important

Hoping for a Road Ahead this week after this oddball announcement lol. Hoping we hear officially of the new Capital Ship and GL soon! And if they connect with Luthen.
I think the community manager mentioned today it is looking like it is not happening this month. My guess then is July. Similar to Leia's Road Ahead last year perhaps.

if i recall correctly the rebel trooper's stats scale with mon mothma. Not sure if it constantly updates during battle but giving her the stacking offense would give the rebel trooper offense too.
Adhand was already incredible in my books. Seeing his interaction with his dog, makes him legendary! 😊
I hope this means we get his ship some day too, that thing seemed like it could be a beast in the game.

I doubt any conquest character we‘ll get soon will be on banes level. And that is a good thing. People who are disappointed by it are just idiots
@@allg3559 Yeah you’re right, but my point is that they’re disappointments only really because CG set the bar so high with Bane. It’s just sad these potentially great and exciting characters won’t live up to it and will be labeled as “bad”.
One of the things I like about this kit is that it changes depending on the leader. It means this concept could be used for future characters. I think I saw someone else mention this on the SWGOH forums, but imagine someone like Crosshair, who could have both Empire and Bad Batch synergies depending on if Hunter is leading or an Empire leader. He could have mulitple tags to help with this too (Empire, Imperial Trooper, Clone Trooper, Bad Batch).

Holy shit, I was not expecting that. Not complaining tho, I love his character. I do agree, however, that even though he’s one of my favorite new Star Wars characters, I wouldn’t say he’s conquest worthy, at least not when it comes to importance. The kit, on the other hand, is definitely worth the conquest prestige
I also hope we actually get a different model for Curator Mode, but it’s still CG, so I’m not that hopeful

remember, Bane's datacron had a summoned unit, and it activated all the "first time sith ally is defeated" thing with his lead.
So a new summon counts as a new unit in the code, based off that. So that omicron should work like a NS Zombie like you thought.
I stopped playing the game and left my guild, but i might come back for a bit just to pick up Luthen in Conquest, make sure i have him for if i ever come back. Cuz he's gonna be really nice for my rebel fighters i havent gotten to use in awhile.

Just wish the PC client would come out cuz it would be a lot easier to play the game on my pc. I hate having to sit there on my phone for 2 hours doing conquest everyday :)

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. I have neither MM nor Saw heavily invested in, so I feel comfortable skipping him for now. Bigger fish to fry like DTMG and Gungans (and maybe Trench for the raid? Maybe.)
I wonder if a split will happen for MM and Saw Luthen, and if it will involve Drogan even if someone has Leia. Glad they’re lifting fallen-by-the-wayside teams again

I'm so hyped for Luthen! I love Andor and Stellan Starsgard was amazing in it.
He sounds very nice as a unit, being able to mix and match with Mothma and Saw, yet he does sound more geared towards Mothma, this could allow mothma to take on stronger teams and possibly even GL's I also think we will get his ship as a conquest reward later like they did with Malgus. All in all he is going to be a great rebel lifter

stream watcher here: the offense buff to mothma comes in the same clause as turn meter immunity which she can benefit from, thus she can be targeted for the buff

Xaereth pointed out how bane has a summon w his datacron, and quadme had a summon, boss nass summons the shield gen. Dt moff summons a dt. Kinda similar things.

CG always has some sort of "theme" with their new characters. Lots of summon/revive things the past couple months now.

The reason mon Mothma gains the offense is simply because she gains the rest of the effects of the ability. She can be targeted so there’s no reason not to give her the offense. It’s probably easier to program that way though I could be wrong. Additionally, the rebel commanders stats scale with the summoner. So if the commander is killed and Mon Mothma summons another, it will have more offense.

As a huge Andor fan, I’m stoked that we’re getting luthen! I might have to drop everything and go after Mon and stone wall Saw.

So on his Kit I believe the call out to Mon Mothma is because she is not a Rebel Fighter so isn’t covered in the “Rebel Fighter Ally” but you can still give her the Frenzy and immunity to TM reduction
I just recently got CAT and JMK a month or two ago, so hopefully I can get gold crate now.
I also got the ideal Padme cron and shot up to top 50 for the first time ever. I even briefly held #1 in my shard. Which having played this game since I was 14, felt nice.
I actually found out a member of CAW is in my shard. Absolutely terrifying account. Strikes the fear of god in me and I am not even religious. “Just a girl with a darksaber” I believe is their name.
Do you think that there won't be a new capital ship this year? It doesn't seem like there's enough time for one now.

I love summon characters so much
Mon Mothma gaining Offense I think will boost her own summoned Rebel Trooper, as the Summon Unique for her states that the summoned unit gains stats based on the Summoners Stats. So building up Mon Mothma's offense over time just means that when she eventually summons the Rebel Commander herself, he's gonna be getting a very big Offense boost.

I think the offense bonus to MM has to do with her summon. If the intial trooper from Luthen dies, use this to boost MM's offense and then have her summon a new Trooper. I think?

How much of a difference in shards between gold crate on normal and the lower crates on hard? I would love to unlock Luthen but idk if it’s worth going off normal to go to hard

I think the point of giving Offense to MM is that if she then spawns the Rebel Soldier, he gets that stat boost.
Ya i havent been able to even think about leviathon because i havent figured out how to do malgus proving grounds. Im literally about to finish his ship but not even close to him.
I feel like it's hard to imagine what can Luthen bring to the rebel fighter teams because there's a lot of folks that you can put in the team and Saw's kit is bloated with words. On top of my head:
- Saw can allow Luthen to call himself for assist (inflicting fear) and reduce his cooldowns
- Imagine throwing Drogan in there, the cd reset will allow him to pass his stupid buff like a free giveaway
- Mind what the Commander does (since we rarely see him): daze on basic, more rally, +45% crit damage and +90% tenacity (yikes!) for his team
yeah I definitely think he's conquest worthy, this is a guy who hid from the Empire in an Antique shop on Coruscant, and if he is a former Jedi like they hinted towards that means he learned the same technique Palpatine used to hid his force presence. I'm really excited to see where his story goes, there's still a lot of mystery around him. was the rebellion built by a rouge dark jedi?
I think it should be more conquest units because if you focus you can do it! I was 3.9 mil GP when I found out about malgus beingneeded for levi. I modded toons to gwt to 4 mil and had him and his ship within 4 months. I had a 7* levi 5 months after release
