Really excellent Conquest videos. I recently discovered this game and came here to learn more about the setting as I knew that you had made several lore videos about it. I'm really looking forward to you making lore videos for the new factions that Para Bellum shall be releasing down the road.
Great backround and video. Conquest has very intirgueing fluff and a catchy design for their minis. The only thing that really dissapoints me isbthe quality of their plastic and sprues. Assembling the starterset has been an absolute chore and a headache. Really bad quality, full of seemlines and sprue connections are so thick you loose a lot of detail on the parts. It also doesnt help that the assembly instructions are very basic and sometimes in the style of 1. Draw a circle. 2. Draw a line. 3. Draw the rest of the lifelike horse. Rant over. I really like the world. Cheers.
So while I appreciate, and I’m sure many others do as well, you doing an abbreviated, broad, or general descriptive video of each faction I think what tends to captivate most fans are the details. Especially when those details involve a hero or champion of the corresponding faction. Go deeper please. Tells us about the tale of So&so and the battle at that place. I’d love to hear about the legendary battles and how one or more individuals made their mark in history and now their name(s) will forever be remembered. If those details don’t exist yet because the game/hobby is still too new then I suppose will have to be wait but some folks are impatient…just saying.
The hundred kingdoms reminds me a lot of the holy Roman empire, as the saying go it was not holy, it was not Roman, and it was not an empire, but it did have a hell of a lot of small kingdoms.
I have to say for a faction that is supposed to be standard cookie cutter fantasy humans, they have a surprising amount of depth.
This faction hits all the right notes for me. Just ordered the starter kit! Thanks for covering their lore!
Feed the algorithm. Like the video. I want to see this game get more attention.
Now this is very unique take on fantasy humans. I enjoyed the take on the deists. Don’t usually clockmaker gods in fantasy settings.

If it helps at all, the starter set minis are the oldest and lowest quality in the range. Para bellum has come a long way since making those sprues.

I call it the Unholy Hot Mess
Neat!
The Orders should be coming soon.
👍🏻
No such thing as "Holy, in a non-religious sense"
