Amy is actually a very friendly and comforting person, her mother never really let her live, she would have been quiet liked by her peers if her mother had not ingrained those obnoxious stereotyped into her...but never the less she found her liberty to life
Yep, she is energetic, affectionate, intelligent, kind and open minded. Once she broke through the emotional walls she had built up, she was up there with Penny as one of the hearts of their group.
First of all, Amy is more grounded than almost anyone on this show, second only to Leonard. Secondly, she is that way not in spite of her upbringing, but because of it. She knows who she is, and she doesn't need the whole NCAA football league running through her to find out.
To be fair, we don't know if her mother was always like that or not. We need to remember, we are only meeting the woman after YEARS of marriage. Amy was someone bullied and unwanted. Maybe the poor woman developed these bad things out of history of raising the girl.... She literally had to pay someone to hang out with her daughter. And her husband was kinda a wimp and push over... There is a good chance that things just evolved over the years... There is a thing called a negativity cycle where your negativity spreads, makes a person worse and their worse negativity effects you....
I don't see why. They all have very similar interests, and personalities. At least compared to any other people they interact with, what is hard to bealive is how they put up with sheldon.
Also I saw somewhere that the director or whoever it was behind the scenes had friends who were the exact version of penny and sheldon in irl. Strange as to why they did not go forward with it @@catlover2652
Yeah, I noticed that. Leonard says "the funnest fun is the safest fun", and yet -- he's the one actually doing the experiment, and she's the one wearing the gloves. His gloves remain on the table...
Why would Penny be bothered that Amy be at their place just for a second night straight when she used to come by ALL the time and nombody said anything? PS And if anyone wonders about how come in sitcoms people enters houses without asking...actually that happen to me in college. For whatever reason my room was the most popular (it was just the same as the rest and I didn´t carry anything different than the rest) but my friends used to stop by all the time. And I remembered thinking that it was just like a sitcom. ...and funny enough, it worked only one way. They´d come over, open the door and hung out just like that...and it didn´t bother me. On the contrary. But whenever I had to look for them I´d knock on their doors always.

Tldr theres too much sodium acetate dissolved in the solution that all that it needs is a small crystal to form around to start completely crystallizing. The small crystal would be at the end of the rod that leonard poked in
This was explained the one time. Aside from what was already mentioned here, the biggest problem was what to do with the food. You take a scoop of rice, noodles, etc...and THEN you need to say a line. The act of swallowing takes a second or two and everyone has to wait until the person can speak. OR if you don't swallow, WHERE do you store the food in your mouth so that you can speak clearly? Plus, there's the choking hazard when trying to speak with food in your mouth... All-in-all, the cast just decided the best way to deal with the food scenes was to eat as little as possible during filming. That's WHY those scenes always look so odd: "Funny. We all LOVE Chang's Take-Out. That's WHY we get it all the time. But none of us ever EATS it!!!"
