Do you think it would it still work if you put an empty pod in it? I like the pods idea but sometimes would like to add my own protein powder. My thoughts are if I put one of the empty pods in it I could still mix up my own protein powder in there instead of pod ingredients.

Yes!! I keep a cleaned pod on hand to use it to make other things :)

What if you didn’t drink your drink fast enough and want to reblend it for another 30 seconds?

@@LinhTran-bc7id It doesn't "un blend" per se, so I don't think there's an issue of not drinking it fast enough, but YES you can re-blend it / blend it again! You might have to finagle the pod/ re-situate it to get it to blend again since it is a "smart" lid, but it will :)

Are you able to put ice in there?

The blender is made to process powdered foods and liquid, so while I do put other liquids in besides water, I wouldn't recommend putting ice in it. The few times I've had the powder solidify the blender couldn't process it. Ice would be a lot harder and could potentially dull the blades or make the blender stop working. They don't even recommend putting in fresh fruit just as a reference. On the flip side the do recommend using cold beverages, so I don't find the need to add ice!

Can I just buy the pods and mix in my vitamix? I don't know if there easy to open? Or do they open with the device only?

Honestly not sure as the pod opens up within the blender. They are closed until the lid opens them (when the blender is closed) as they are made for this blender specifically. You could probably pry them open but not sure that is advised. I don't blame you for asking though - the pods are awesome! And the blender is too - love that it doesn't have to be plugged in or anything to use / is great on the go. Another thing to note is I'm not sure of the exact liquid to powder ratio as the liquid line is marked on the inside of the blender.

You are able to buy pods separately from the blender though if that is your question!
