Johnny Depp deserved Oscars for several of his performances and it’s ridiculous that he didn’t get an Oscar for POC at the least. He was great in everything he’s done.
You can tell that Johnny Debb was not part of the "in group" in Hollywood. Can you believe it? That's a crime. Just a crime because he is such an artist. He takes chances, follows his own lead. He is truly a very talented person.
yeah because at his level he would've been part of what people might call the sect, or whatever they call the evil entity that enables a lot of immoral and deviant and most certainly illegal practices and behaviors. But because Johnny didn't sell his soul, because he is such a genuine and loving person he won't partake in that. That is why I believe he wasn't collaborating much with the people that he probably should have in the public's pov. However, even with him being pushed aside they couldn't deny his talent and power, he made himself a force to recon with and built immense fortune that they have to deal with him at least at some level and give him some consideration. I admit I hadn't thought about it this way but at a certain point I stopped seeing his movies in the mainstream and being advertised like they used to and some might argue his best performances came at a later stage of his career so it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't be as advertised and talked about if not more than in the beginning, it always bugged me and I never really got why until now. So when they excluded him, he did more indie movies and was successful, so much so that he started getting calls from the very people who left him aside. I don't believe Johnny Depp would drink a baby's blood but if suggested that Tom cruise does it I will be way more inclined to believe it
Depp got ripped off! Even when he’s nominated twice in the same category he doesn’t win? His character development is superb, like no other, he should have swept these nominations.

For sure he should've won more than once, but I feel that People's Choice Awards are more important to him anyway. We all know how biased/unfair those major award committees can be and Johnny has proved that he genuinely cares about his fans. So, their votes probably hold more meaning to him than any professional committee ever would.
Hollywood isn’t crazy about Depp. He stays away from the in crowd, does not go to the ‘right parties’…..he’s not part of the racket. And unfortunately his genius & creativity has been overlooked . I pray life will be good to him the way he was kind and gentle to our children from 5-95 who dare to dream .

He became friends with RDJ because both of them started their careera around the same time. He was friends with River Phoenix who died pretty young. He was friends with Tim Burton who himself is a Hollywood outsider and I suppose if you work with someone on several films, you do end up becoming good friends. I imagine sam l jackson and tarantino are good friends as well as de niro and scorsese. He became friends with Paul Bettany who wasn't really a known actor at the time. The only reason anyone would have even known him back then was because he was married to Jennifer Connelly. Johnny depp and Marlon Brando became good friends while working on don juan demarco and Johnny is also good friends with Al Pacino because they did Donnie Brasco. So no, I wouldn't say he is part of the Hollywood group. Most of his friendships in Hollywood were formed with his costars or some of them were formed when he and the other actor themselves weren't really well known. He himself has said that most of his friends are from outside the industry. He probably has more connections in the music industry than he does in hollywood.
