Hi Cathy. Cards were great. Simple is good sometime. The multi color spiral, I would have matted in black and bubble cut the sentiment so more of the color would have shown, but that’s just me. Have a great week. Hugs💕

Great cards! My favorite are 4 and 6- the graphic nature of them is so cool and embossing on patterned paper is awesome, I forget about that technique when using embossing folders. Thanks for the reminder! The card maker that uses 2 metal shims when embossing is Amy R. From Prairie Paper and Ink. There may be more people that do that but I know Amy does.

I think all of them are fabulous. My favorite is the last one; it’s so Cathy. The embossed one is a very close second.
I think it looks quite manly with the 3d embossing and coloured trianglesxx

Hi. The card that you made with the embossing folder, I think the vellum strip would have looked really cute lower on the bottom third of the card. But, it turned out just as cute!

I would have used a double layer of vellum as the wrap around belly band. It would have been a bit more opaque, but would have been less stark again the pattern
The white sentiment strip was definitely the way to go (in my opinion)

The embossed one with the belly band-- maybe write embossed on a desert storm band?
Love the first, forth and sixth the best. I am not a patterned paper user. I love it when I see it in cards but, I feel like I am cheating when I use it. You cropped them exactly like I thought I would when I saw them and they were gorgeous. ❤
Love your cards…esp the one with the cut-aparts! I have a love/hate relationship with tape runners. 43:24 In the recent past, I was looking through a bunch of incomplete cards and “card parts” that I had put away for a good long time..too long. (Why didn’t I complete them and use them?….that’s another story.) Anyway, I noticed that some paper layers and die cuts that I thought were securely glued with a dot runner (you know, it has teeny dots of glue instead of solid glue…I prefer those…or preferred those.) were coming loose! 😮 So many of the cards I made using whatever brand or brands of dot runner and sent out may have fallen apart? I don’t know? I just hope the adhesion lasted until the person received the card, enjoyed it for a bit or disposed of it or put it away. Oh well. now I mostly use liquid glue or a glue stick (Elmer’s Craft Bond sticks are great!)
I have a collection of patterned paper but didn’t know how to use it- thanks for the ideas Cathy! ❤️

On the Birthday Wishes card you could double up the vellum to make the sentiment stand out more on the belly band.

I know! That SBC double sided adhesive will NOT die cut! I have tried many many times. It won’t work! Ever! No matter how many shims! I used it to tape down my area rug to the cement floor! It’s pointless! I bought Altenews because I heard they had the best. But save the frustration on the roll!

I like the white band because you lose the words on the vellum. They are harder to see with the colors underneath!

Hey Cathy, I love your work, although I don't tend to use kits as a rule.... Ish, I do love this kit, anyhoo, I digress, I admire your work, I tend to kinda mull things over and then find the most difficult method of execution 😂until I refine the idea, sort of mixed media projects, greetings card hybridy thingy, I just wonder if it's OK to contact you if I get stuck?

The pouch isn't included with all kits. It's based on the value of each piece and I think in this case, there are two ink pads instead of a pouch.
What, no zippered mesh bag in this kit???
Not all kits come with the mesh bag because it's based on the value and I think because there are two ink pads in this kit that replaced having a mesh bag!
