@@TransformotionVR been on a while since I discovered high peak autos at Christmas like cars always have your matts is really good refreshing content and your channel is great.. wish back in the 80s you were on late nights in mates garage with various homemade projects chopping beetles or working on mine or just hanging out with a brew your channel reminds me much of that .. really good stuff guys and like matts refreshing content you really deserve to be successful and grow big .. old school and all the better for it I think!

We used to do the exact same mate! We'd go to our mates garage after work and stay there till silly o'clock doing engine conversions, work on our drift cars or just playing one bounce in the car park ha ha those were the days

Maaaan, this is beyond an awesome project!! This car can be taken is so many directions! So whatever you make of this, I'm sure it will be fun, no doubt! Fake taxi 😂, put a RR grill on it and call it posh, make it into a small van, get another engine in it and make it a sleeper that you can take onto the circuit and watch people's faces melt... So many ways to make this fun! Great find, guys! I can't wait to see what you'll make of this!

OMG guys, a clean, running vehicle with all those spares for £400 - at least Dick Turpin wore a mask! 🙂 Interesting that everyone who saw it at first was like 'You bought a what?' then after driving it, they came back grinning from ear to ear - great find. A silly idea for it might be to stretch it and turn it into a non taxi limo... So who's gonna be the first to 'accidentally' use the taxi lane in town, or say 'You'll never guess who I had in the back...' ?
It's brilliant mate! It's the slowest thing ever but for some reason it's brilliant to drive! It changes anyone who drives it....and it was a propper bargin! There's no taxi lanes in our town but who knows when we take it places ha ha 😉
I'd drive around town in the early hours of the morning on weekends. Can you imagine how many people gagging for a taxi you'd p**s off... especially if it's raining... 😂

Hi Guys, I used to drive a Austin TX1 SE for a registered charity so you can pimp it into a daily runner. Some businesses have converted them into mobile cafés or campervans. You can cut the roof off and convert it into a convertible for weddings. They have double skins. Depending on the engine you can converted it to use gas or electric or hybrid. A bigger fuel tank is a must.
Ha ha we don't want anymore work tbh ha ha we're too busy as it is. So it what we can do as a channel with it, I feel like it's gonna be the channel mascot so it's very recognisable. But totally agree the tank is tiny!
Got to be a branded pick-up - chop the roof, big bed, wrap it with branding - a perfect work car and show stealer!

Definitely slam it chop the roof a little bit with the transformotion decal on both sides it will be the flagship mobile for the channel and kinda like a show car. Loving it guys keep up the hard work

That was great, previous owner seemed like a decent chap, thats a bargain. Its a body on chassis so maybe remove the existing one and see if you can put a 4 * 4 one there instead ?
He was! He was really honest about all it's issues and that's the way selling should be! Really nice guy! Id rather put a tdv8 landrover chassis and engine under the taxi body ha ha
The steering on the taxi is floaty because of the turning circle they round on a sixpence i drove one for two years ,no good on a motorway my taxi was flat out at 55 mph love the channel
Ours is floaty because it has play in the steering box, it just needs adjusting, our must be fast too as it has no problem doing 70mph 😁 thank you mate! We appreciate that 👍
It could totally be The perfect vehicle to haul merch to events with to sell the fans.

I bought a 1997 TX1 that someone had exported here to Poland, it has had a new engine and needs new sills welding but locals here love the look as it is not a common sight in Poland. My plan is for a wedding car but my son keeps pushing me to put a bigger V8 engine into it, it also a good back up for a family of 5 and a dog.
Ha ha id love to put a v8 in this! Do the v8 thing and make it a wedding car too ha ha 😂

Put over whatever parts you can from the type R ie engine and gearbox, brakes ect and make it rapid.
The type R has well gone mate, I dont think it'd be strong enough to pull this thing, I think its 2.5t

I can see some sort of rocket powered camper van with a full size expanding BBQ out of the boot.....Good for the shows!

Great video. Maybe not an A Team Transformotion Fake Taxi ('The Service With Benefits"). I would paint it a nice metallic colour, keep the outside as stock as possible and turn it into a sleeper car. You picked up a major bargain there, and possibly sell the parts you don't need on for a profit

I would prepare it up and drive it like it is as special car for every day, including going with it to shows and special events, zwing it as a promotion-carryer as well.
I think that's the plan for now, it's going to get our spin on it and taken to a few shows so it's recognisable
Honestly, being stateside, I'd have it wrapped like a classic London bus, or a Union Jack roof, load a sound system into it and daily drive that beast.

Lower it with airbag suspension, maxive turbo, swap to manual rear wheel drive drift and the cherry on the cake a roof tent, and don't forget double exhaust on the middle of the rear bumper, would be sickkkkkkk

Put an OM606 with a 20 inch diameter Garrett turbo in it and take it to drifting! It'll take you 3 business days to defeat the turbo lag, but once it kicks in, you'll flippi' FLY! 💀

Stick a more powerful engine in and turn it into a sleeper cab that will outrun a hot hatch at the lights. But leave the outside like a standard taxi. The looks you will get and the laughs have to be worth it

Isn't it being taxed irrelevant, as it's no longer transferable between owners.
Old owner notifies DVLA, who in turn sends a refund of whole months left to old owner, and then new owner has to tax it again.
