In today's vlog we head to Disney's Animal Kingdom for a family lunch date at Nomad Lounge, which is the lounge area outside of Tiffin's restaurant near the entrance to Pandora: The World Of Avatar! We started the day with a quick look at the Oasis area near the park entrance and then we headed over to Nomad Lounge to grab a bite for lunch. They were full at the time so they took our number and texted us when they had an available table. You have 10 mins to get back to the lounge once you receive your text. Our quoted wait time was 30 mins but it ended up taking an hour, which was okay because it gave us time to look around at the nearby gift shops. We tried the sliders with yucca fries, the chicken rice bowl, the tuna rice bowl and the churros. Everything was so delicious! We even ordered seconds of some of the items! That's how good they were! We had a great table too, we were able to see so many characters go down the river in their boat cavalcades, it was awesome! We had a fantastic day and we hope you enjoyed hanging out with us for lunch! We definitely recommend checking out Nomad Lounge on your next visit to Animal Kingdom! Thank you for putting the spotlight on cast members. My husband works on World of Color at Disneyland and was just warned that he will likely be laid off in the coming weeks. He has been with Disney for almost 10 years and we are heartbroken. I am currently on bed rest and pregnant with our 3rd child. So this time is stressful to say the least. We appreciate you spotlighting the cast member resources as there are so many cast member families hurting right now. We truly appreciate it!

Please continue to spotlight the CM pantry. They are the heartbeat of Disney. They have given their lives to this company. Quite frankly, vlogs wouldn’t be possible without them. We need these wonderful people.
My heart breaks for the thousands of cast members who lost their jobs and probably already used the last of their unemployment benefits (if they ever received it at all). I pray that they are able to find alternative work to help them provide for themselves and/or a family. Thanks for putting a spotlight on the issue at the end of the video.

Jackson likes drums? Time for pans and wooden spoons! Kept my kids occupied (can't say quiet) for ages 😂
I had one cabinet in the kitchen unlocked for a couple of pots and plastic items that the kids could pull out and play with while I cooked or cleaned. It did keep them busy.

I loved when you guys were doing the “land” tours a few years ago at MK. I only ever saw the Tomorrowland episode, but now would be a great time to do those again while you can see more at the parks! Loved learning a little history and seeing the walkthroughs, since when we go it’s always SO crowded and hard to see the little things.

I`ve only heard good things about Nomad Lounge, and everything today looked really good ! It seems like the perfect spot too, in the shade and with a good view of the characters. It`s so awesome to see you being able to enjoy Disney as a family!
I love Nomad Lounge, the food, the drinks, even the background music. You can also find the Nomad Lounge background music loop here on UA-cam. I put it on at home for atmosphere.

I would like to start off by saying that how proud I am to have you both in my life because you both are such caring people with all the different links to different organizations and shedding light on real problems that are out there but this particular one about the cast members being laid off hit hard and when Jenn said how much she appreciated them all for the jobs they’ve been doing for some reason I started crying I guess it’s because they truly are the people that make the magic happen every time people go there and I never wish this on anyone so may heart ❤️ goes out to those effected by the layoffs now on to the to the fun times at Animal Kingdom and every time you go there I’m so amazed at how beautiful that place really is and it was especially nice to see Jackson having an amazing time looking at Characters and listening to music and the place you guys went to for lunch looked like a fun place and like I always say it was so awesome seeing you both together and doing your food review because you guys work so good together reviewing the food and plus you are spending quality time together now your food looked divine but Jenn said the fish was very spicy 🥵 and I’m not sure I could handle it and I like fish but everything else I would try in a heartbeat and your drinks sounded real good and boy how cool was that to see Jackson try watermelon 🍉 for the first time and he looked like he liked it so all and all it was an amazing time spent with you guys and I always have a great time when I’m with you because you guys make life that much better so with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Tim, Jenn and Jackson and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure also please be safe out there

Had to check to see if you were at Animal Kingdom when we were. My husband said I think I saw Tim Tracker. YES! It was you. It started out a refreshing morning but it sure did warm up. Nice time as always.

Nomad's is a must-do for my family every visit. We have never sat outside. It looks nice.
Jenn, my Stitch loving daughter has that same dress! She fell in love with Stitch in 2011 at her first disney trip at 6 when Stitch danced with her at the dance party in Magic Kingdom.

We stumbled on the Nomad Lounge and it was wonderful. If you've been to the parks a few times and have the time to relax for a bit... this is an excellent spot to do it. We drank African coffee and for the mixed drink, shared a Snow leopard Salvation. It's another drink with ginger beer. That ginger helped settle my stomach when we hit the Flight of Passage (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).
Yes I love nomad lounge its a great enviornment and the food is so good. I got the chicken bowl too and it was my favorite!
The background music from Nomad lounge here on UA-cam is my jam, when the world is rotten I play it and dance as much of it as I can (it's good for a positive release of energy). It includes several different styles of music from Asia and Afica and I'm sure I dance to it really well 😂

@@LifeWithMrsB The music from Animal Kingdom Lodge is also so good for a relaxing chill. It actually started playing here on it's own this am and I had a goofy (ahyuck) thought that it's too bad Tim and Jenn are too busy to listen to it. They can go over and enjoy in person! Let Jackson see the Giraffes and Zebra, have a zebra dome dessert at the snack bar, go sit by the fire in the lobby and rock Jackson while listening to the music and smelling all the spice smells. That's how you forget about election season for an afternoon!
