  • Winter weather came in hard these past few weeks and temps dropped well below freezing. That caused issues with our propane tank and fireplace. We decided to upgrade to a dual stage and the problem was solved!

Dude, you should educate yourself at least a little before you try to give advice to others on a subject.

I knew the keyboard propane masters would come out lol…we had a problem and this was the solution that’s all…single stage propane regulators are fine for some and others like us need a dual one 🍻

An outside LP tank in below zero temperatures with low amounts of LP in the tank can loose pressure, sometimes quite drastically and then rebound to normal pressure after the furnace has quit burning or the sun comes out and warms the tank up. A tank that is insulated with snow can make this problem even worse. The regulators outside can also be affected by moisture and frost that will make them not act correctly.

This was a full 100 lbs tank it started as soon as the temps dropped swapped to a dual stage and it’s been fine since and it’s been colder
