The driver at the Indy race went on to be a test driver for an F1 team so it would be good to track him down for an interview, but I'm sure he has better things to do :)
I used fishing line wrapped around axle stands to align my DC2 ITR. Bear in mind that the rear track in less on these cars so you have to factor that in to get the strings parallel. Also, the use of an engineering rule is better than using a tape measure for more accurate results. The wheels do look great though.
@@UzumakiGarage yeah that was my issue here really. One shop wanted me to 'leave my ITR with them' and they'd give me a call when it was done. There was absolutely no way I was leaving my beloved ITR at a fast fit shop for them to take it for a run up the local dual carriageway without my permission. Hence why I did it with fine fishing line myself.
Thanks! Your size wheels sound good as you could use wide tyres with a higher profile. Hard to tell exactly without test fitting, which can get expensive
Yes I still have the white one but it needs some more work. I removed its gearbox and had it reconditioned. So next I have to re-install the gearbox but first the steering rack needs attention and I might replace the clutch too while I'm at it. All good content to go in future video episodes.

Love the wheels! They are very light! I have them on my DC2 as well but 16x7.5 +35 offset. I get lots of complements on the wheels!

Just to confirm the stock rear toe arm can adjust the toe?
Yes. The Compensator Arm on the rear can adjust the rear toe
